LBP (in the States) was $60, now it's $30. And not only do you get LBP, but you get homages to Contra, Limbo, Pacman, Shadow of the Colossus, God of War, Gradius, Phantasy Star Online and countless other great user created levels.
Has there been 1 article stating why/how both will succeed?
When it was called Natal, they claimed it could do everything but bring FireFly back on the air.

In Limbo, you jump...and you grab. That's its gameplay. REVOLUTIONARY huh?
Because it doesn't work very well?
I'm a fan of games that are fun, people that are fun to play with and technology that works.
Those kudos should have been extended to Sony...in 2003.
You weren't kidding! "Move Left" and she's already damn near in the other woman's pocket. Even with all these MS demos of Kinect NOT working, people still defend it. Amazing.
I was digging this vid. Hot Asian women, trying to look like they were have fun, dancing in little outfits...what's not to like? Then, right as I thought there was going to be a hot Asian women twerk explosion...fail.
Shadow Complex is good. And been out for some time. Trials HD is good. And been out for some time. Wait until ONE of those listed titles comes out, then you'd have a more legitimate reason for sharing your insecurities.
3D is only a gimmick or fad to those without 3D, just HDTV was "too price prohibitive" to justify the "minimal increase in quality" vs. SDTV. I have 3D and look forward to playing the shit out of these games. When I'm finished puking or waking from an epileptic seizure, I'll continue to play the shit out of these games.
Dead Nation
Journey
Tumble
Echochrome II
PixelJunk Shooter 2
Alive & Undead
Hoard
PixelJunk Racers: 2nd Lap
So far, I don't see a problem.
What if the 360S launched in 2005? Pointless question.
Sony's adman and boy are personas and as such, can mock and joke. That "Kevin Butler from the future" was classic. Marcus's "Paper Toss" ad was funny as well, even enjoyed by the maker's the damn game. When the hell did people get so damn sensitive? Christ...
XBL should use something similar to the Zone you select (Underground, Recreation, etc when creating your tag) and add something for age or age group. With the new family packs of XBL subscriptions, it seems doable. I'd much rather play with my age group (or there abouts) than some dipshit prepubescent, Peter Brady voice cracking tool, thinking he's living a rap video. Or a Klan rally.
He knows about things that suck:
Trespass
Breakin'
Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo
Johnny Mnemonic
Tank Girl
The second Body Count album
Leprechaun: In the Hood.
Then there's his wife...
EDIT: @ SOAD, it indeed had great ideas, but that's it. The execution rivaled Batman and Robin with George Clooney.
I'm 33yrs old and, as most, are affected differently by different things. Also, have you seen Chinatown? There is nothing to weep about in that movie. I'm guessing you're young and referencing things you haven't seen. I felt emotion watching Taken, being a father of a daughter myself and felt the same emotion playing Splinter Cell Conviction.
Also also, once you see/do something, it's not very likely to have the same effect on you. That's where nostal...
I won't pretend to know what's considered art by, well, anyone. As I won't pretend to know what's considered art by the guy who sculpted the Virgin Mary out of shit. I do feel however, in my lifetime, some of the video games I've played are indeed art. I'll use movies for comparisons sake, as it's generally accepted that movies are considered art (there is an "art" genre after all). It may be true there is no Chinatown or Raging Bull equivalent in the gam...
I'll cost...
That's a great idea. If it mapped your body to a monster avatar (or custom monster) and let you "live" Rampage, that might get me to grab one. Of course, I would still need it to work better than the latest demos.
Until then...
