Hype can be a factor when a fanboy does the reviewing. Even if a certain game did not meet the high expectation this doesn't give the reviewr a reason to kill the score. This is bullcrap if u ask me. Games should be rated according to what they offer not on hype and what have you. This game deserves more than a 7. Face it, IGN screwed up.
I thought lair was a good game as well.
I think this game is getting bombed in reviews becuase those reviewrs know they screwed up so bad in GTA reviews and want to restore some of their credability.
i played the demo and personally did not think its worth a 9 but its definitely worth more than a 7.
I guess UBI has to learn about the game of reviewing and how to bribe those suckers from Take 2 and Microsoft.
The fact that IGN gave this game a 4.5 proves again that no reviewing site is perfect. I truely believe that the reviewing process at big shot web sites like IGN and gamespot should be done by more than one person. Also, i think the final score must be approved by a manager or something. Game reviewing is not a joke anymore, this is not 2-4 years ago and IGN and the rest of the gang should act responsibly.
This game should be in the 8.5 range.

Sorry but even the idea of comparing the biggest hardware issue in the 21st century to a little patchable software issue that is only temp occuring for a single game is a complete idiocity and ignorance. Kotaku should really reconsider their hiring process for writers (becuase no gaming site thus far has a journalist)

To be honest this looks just like a PS2 game. I hope the devs are working on improving the graphics for this game.

As a matter of fact, the problems on 360 lead to more severe consequences (total system failure) where the issues on the PS3 are freezing issues(a path will cure them all).

I totally agree with u. Those that voted are most likely the ones that already have problems w/ their game, so I must say that the actual users with issues w this games is much less than the shown percentage. I think the number is around 10 percent of the total useres (on both consoles)
well, we all know what happened to the IGN poll a week ago. I won't be surprised if the same idiots are using the same tequniques to inflate the numbers on this poll as well. I am not saying there are no issues w/ the game. All I am saying is that those polls are not professionally designed and looked after. So pretty much anything can happen.

Thanx for pointing out that all PS3 titles have to be brilliant. I agree with you on the fact that the PS3 is a powerhouse and therefore all games for it should be great. But we have to remember that that also depends on the devs.
