Don't you guys worry. Toshiba and Sony will work out something at the end of the Holiday season. Toshiba will cancel the contract with paramount and sony will pay them some cash.. Remember that Sony and Toshiba have always been close friends..
PS3 and 360 are both manufactured in china. Non of them contributes to the economic well being of either the US or Japan. Unless you are a share holder then you probably shouldn't bother yourself if xbox is selling well or not. By the way, More Americans own shares in Sony than Microsoft. So, if you look at the big picture more Americans are benefiting from Sonys success in the long run than MS success.
what do u mean by no games to justify this kind of price. I think there is no reason what so ever that justifies this kind of price. The article relied on an unreliable source of information.. so the price is not correct... its not selling for 4700 dollars and it will never sell for that much.. You might think that super rich people would spend that much on a wii because they are not available but I say rich ones are the ones that get whatever they want before the rest of the people.

I used to sell laptops and video game consoles on ebay and overstock and whenever a product bidding price crossed a certain line I knew it was Nigerians bidding in order to scam me. I had an acer laptop, I put it for sale on ebay.. the bidding reached 5000 dollars.. I was not so excited I knew it was fake.. because the laptop costs at most 700 dollars from anywhere...

Even if they mod the PS3 it will be very risky to do the procedures in order to hack it. Remember its a 400 dollars machine. Plus, the P2P services are rapidly declining as the pressure of the IRAA and CIRA and others are massive.. its going to be probably another 6 months before they knock down all the torrent sites.. (just like what happened to napster back in the day). So if you hack your system its going to be only useful if you rent a game and copy it... but still renting services like g...

This is getting silly now. I think that gamestop reviewer deserves to be fired because he was not professional at all in his review. Its good that Gamespot fired him, because that will set new standards for the reviewing business..

That won't be a problem at all when Sony starts selling downloadable PS2 games for the PS3 just like what they are doing now with some Ps1 games.
Hey this game was meant to be for kids which proves that PS3 is a system for the whole family, and I am sure that all the 8 - 16 yr old kids out there that played the game disagree with you.
PS3 already has more variety of games than the Fbshooter 360..

I agree with the main ideas, but the way he expressed his review is very unprofessional (childish).. and for that I believe he deserves to be fired. However, if Gamespot considers professionalism as a standard for reviewing, firing and hiring then I don't think there will be any one left at that site..
Are you kidding. Do you think games are only sold in the US.. Publishers always consider worldwide sales... i.e Assassins creed sold better in the UK than in the US..
This is the kind of marketing techniques that you call desperate. eBay is losing its market share to Amazon and buy.com. They are trying to come up with new ideas but it seems they are not working (or not).
But from my experience eBay is way overpriced for new items.. especially brand names..
