I said months ago that there should be a couple of gameplay segments in a bustling metropolis setting. I know urban areas have been done before, but they were always devoid of civilians. It would be great, for instance, if Drake scaled some buildings while there were hundreds of people below him going about their daily business. Or a really hectic chase scene amid crowds of people.

I'm glad to read that he hasn't been disallowed from just hacking the PS3, but ALL Sony products.
That screams to me that Sony won this case big time.
If Square Enix must insist on remaking Final Fantasy VII (let's face it, it'll never live up to the original) then do it for the PS3. I want to see Midgar look the best it can possible be.
