Marvelous has already expressed interest in localising it going by one of their tweets. Plus the two trailers for the game on D3Publisher's youtube account have a lot of hits compared to the majority of other stuff they've uploaded. It could definitely happen.
Well, LBP 3 isn't very good, true. A majorly disappointing installment in an otherwise excellent franchise. Second Son however is a damn fine game, and Resogun is just stone-cold excellence.

I always feel far more connected to both the action and the main character when playing in third-person. That might seem weird since you should by rights inhabit a character more by playing in first-person, but it doesn't work that way for me. Seeing the character's movements and reactions goes a long way in helping me immerse myself in what's going on and also being involved in his or her plight, whereas, more often that not, playing in first-person doesn't feel like I'...

There's only 6 weeks separating E3 and Gamescom this year. You can't blame Sony for ditching the latter event and setting up shop somewhere else. It could run the possibility of being a rehash otherwise.
I hope they do return to Gamescom next year though. They always put on a good conference during that event.
