the most intense gaming experience I've ever been subjected to. I'd love to go through something like that again but alas, the game over screen will always remain a gaming convention.

the gameplay seemed really uninspired, and when you're looking forward more to the next cut-scene than the next gameplay segment then you know you're in trouble.
On the other hand, Grim Fandango is one of my favourite games. I'd love to see him revert back to the adventure genre again.
it wasn't the repetitive nature of that battle that irked me; it was how utterly out-of-character The Joker was. And to end an otherwise excellent game on that note didn't do the game any favours.
I lost two bubbles in one day just for making some harmless, trivial remarks. It all comes down to the moderator and what he personally finds immature or offensive or trollish. Because it doesn't take much observation to realize that half the comments underneath any article could realistically be marked down for any of these reasons, or even bad language.
What I'm getting at is that it's very a selective system. Luck of the draw. And thus, incredibly flawed....
was piss poor. I loved the game overall, but the boss battles...man, just awful. Especially the very last one.
