I agree, I liked John Marston's character tons more than Niko Bellic...my favorite character from GTA4(not including the DLC Expansions) was probably Brucie.

If you notice, all the characters listed were FIRST introduced within the last decade....Snake has been around in MGS games for more than 10 years, which is probably why he isn't listed.
I'm finished approving these GT5 speculation articles about it's release date because there's been just so many dates thrown around...everything from Late November, Early December, Before Christmas, and now this.
Until Sony says something these rumors mean nothing to me. I don't think GT5 will be releasing as late as this rumor is suggesting anyways, especially with proof that there's people out there that have the game and the leaked trophy list.

I would absolutely love for Insomniac to use the Health System that R1 had, but I wouldn't mind just health packs either. I liked the Health system in R1 because it made me play the game more carefully instead of Fully Regenerating like most Shooters.
Unless Capelli has been bitten by the Chimera or is genetically altered somehow, I'm not sure how the Partial Regenerating system would fit in with the game, because in a GameInformer video interview Insomniac mentioned ...

According to Kotaku's sources, MGS Rising will miss 2011 for a 2012 release...considering that MGS4 was delayed a few times, I think it's probably true even though I haven'...
Dang...only took Enslaved barely over a month to get it's price slashed to near bargin bin pricing with this deal. I wasn't a huge fan of the demo and thought it was o.k., but for just $25 bucks I think I'll pick it up.
Like NecrumSlavery mentioned, I hope there's some sort of "Horde Mode" in DeadSpace 2, that's something I think I'd enjoy. But based upon the Multiplayer Beta footage of DS2 I've seen, it doesn't really look all that great to me...I'm just not totally sold on the idea of playing as the Necromorphs in the Multiplayer.
I'm buying DS2 for the Single Player component. I just hope the Single Player portion in DS2 is just as strong as the first...
Not just AGENT, but there's been very little info about L.A. Noire too. I almost can't believe that AGENT was originally announced to be released in 2010, yet here we are near the end of 2010 and haven't heard/seen a peep from it since E3 09'....I'm still crossing my fingers that just MAYBE there will be something in video form at this year's VGA Award Show.

I'm sick and tired of all the release date speculation too. At this point I don't care what day it's coming out, as long as it's coming out in 2010 (and I think it will). Plus, with Kazunori Yamauchi confirming it's gone gold, none of these speculation articles mean anything to me anymore.
I've noticed this for a while now....The Stealth genre has always been one of my favorites, but they are very few and far between these days. I loved the Hitman series last gen., but last one came out over 4 years ago.
Also it seems like more developers are slowly ditching the Stealth formula just to make it more appealing...Metal Gear Solid Rising being one example of this, and I WISH Peace Walker was released on consoles and MGS: Rising was getting the PSP treatment ins...
I agree with everyone else that everything mentioned in this interview is old, but it's disappointing that Sony hasn't given any updates on it's release by the end of October like they originally mentioned.
If Sony doesn't get GT5 out the door by this Holiday, they will definitely miss out big time on PS3 hardware sales because GT5 is easily a system seller caliber title, especially in Europe and the Holiday Season is the prime time to release it. I just hope ...

The new site update looks neat, but after getting used to the other site update in May, I didn't expect yet another re-haul this soon.
I think it's great that User Blogs and User Reviews on the Right Side of the Page are much more visible and people actually see it when they scroll down the page....but it kinda makes the Main Page look a little more cluttered than it used to be.

Gran Turismo games have pretty much always been significantly large in scale and content in comparison to other Racing Sim's on the market, so I don't see why it concerns you that people won't see everything the game has to offer. I'm really glad it's returning though. I was so used to it in R1 and it just felt like Insomniac was trying to conform to the "FPS norm" by limiting players to just 2 weapons in R2.
With all the bugs, I'm kinda glad I haven't started playing New Vegas yet after buying it. I never would've thought it would've been THIS bug ridden...I know Fallout 3 had some bugs, but New Vegas just seems to be even worse based upon the articles I've seen. I'll probably just wait until after I get finished with the RDR Undead Nightmare DLC before starting New Vegas...hopefully by then some significant bug fixes will be out.
I was always interested in seeing how much a particular game sold during the month through NPD tracking, but if there isn't any actual numbers attached to it, then I really don't care about these NPD lists anymore...it's like releasing a list of the Top 10 performing movies at the Movie Box Office without the inclusion of how much money each movie made...just not as interesting IMO.
One thing for sure, the fanboy wars from the monthly NPD numbers won't be mis...
I was pretty disappointed with the delay, but since it's just a small one and GT5 should be released by Christmas, it doesn't bother me a whole lot, but I STILL would've preferred to have it early November...what I hate the most is that after 5+ years and just about 2 and a half weeks away from being released, a delay.

The first God of War on PS2 sold a little over 3 million copies and the sales of GOW3 fall right in line with the sales of the previous titles on PS2, so it's not low to me.
3+ million copies for a non-RPG Single Player game on ONE system in this day age is very good IMO...heck, similar games in the same genre like Bayonetta and Darksiders were Multiplatform and haven't sold as much as GOW3.
I buy 6-pack 16.9 oz Coca-Cola's every week, and I've yet to see any Coca-Cola PS Move Advertising...I was thinking Sony would've already started rolling out that campaign by now. Since Sony has waited this long to start the Coca-Cola Advertising, I think sometime early next year around the release of Killzone 3 and Sorcery would be a prime time for it.
And although I drink both Coke and Pepsi, I prefer Coke over Pepsi also DoctorStrange :)
