I've been wanting to ask this let's say Sony just keeps the online passes for their games and let's the publishers implement DRM.
if the system doesn't require constant online connection and we can in fact play our new/used games offline unless said game needs an update would people at least be ok with that?
I know its still not the ideal situation we would want, but at least its somewhat ok.

hmm i might pick up the xbox in 3 yrs after several price drops.
For me I want a games machine first all the media stuff I can honestly live without. Hell I go weeks at a time without watching Netflix on my PS3.
My system(s) are games machines 90% of the time so since Sony is focusing on the games first it only makes sense that I purchase the PS4.
Unlike most here I actually watch live TV and I'm not in need of another cable box. If I do decide that I would want the Xbox I'll get it after it has had several price...

i played Eternal Darkness and had all 3 systems.
it was my favorite game on Gamecube.
seriously Nintendo needs to step up and help fund this game because i've been waiting a long time for a sequel to this game.
exactly i've been saying this same thing. Eternal Darkness was my favorite Gamecube game, and this would be perfect for the Wii U.
why the hell didn't Dennis just go to Nintendo and asked them to help fund this game for exclusives rights? why hasn't Nintendo done the same?

np, and don't worry i have this feeling ND will be at E3 to show off their new project for PS4.
also i believe QD new engine for Beyond Two Souls will be scalable to the PS4 also are we going to complain that they should make a new engine for the system?
also our infrastructure isn't up to snuff yet so D/D is not 100% in the cards yet until this country can get it up and running from coast to coast.

i wonder if the people here who are saying they are a bit disappointed realize that Killzone SF is running on a modified KZ 2/3 engine? Shadow Fall is looking pretty damn good in my book so i'm not really worried about ND make their first PS4 look damn fine.
