Just make a mediocre sequel, it will get gigantic amount of sales and award which have nothing to do with quality.
That's why not many developers are willing to take a risk of creating new IP, Halo 3 ODST and MW2's sales and award nomination cemented that. Gamers nowaday rarely look at new IP, look at what happened with Lost Oddysey on 360, RPG's don't stand a chance in the midst of trigger happy gamers.
Most new IP failed because of bad reviews or lack of hype, but thank God Demon's Souls defied all that. More hardcore gamer should and must support this new IP gem so that we can keep getting quality games like this.
All the casual and noob gamers can keep their handholding games, I want my games to be HARD so when I complete it, I feel real acomplishment.
I hope we get a good sequel with more everything in it.

It's hard allright but it's a very original and rewarding experience that no other games can match as of now, not even Dragon Age.
This is the only RPG that I can't wait to play the sequel ( if there's any ) and the feeling you got after earning the platinum trophy ? Priceless ! Get it now !
It feels oh so good, even though I have to suffer 4 playthroughs, I enjoyed it very much as I'm getting stronger and better everytime. The only thing that will hinder most of you guys will definitely be the almost impossibility to get PURE BLADESTONE on a regular basis. That bronze trophy is the hardest one to get IMO
I'll still buy it, would be crazy not to.
Now is the perfect time so I can get the add-on from PSN as well.

This will be the console that completes the HD gaming experience. We have hardcore games on PS3 and casual games on Wii2, both in HD quality. I mean, who doesn't want Mario, Zelda or Metroid in HD ?

downloaded Uncharted: Eye of Indra already ? Pretty unique stuff. In case anyone wondering, the language the goons speaking in the bar is Indonesian. So I guess this time Drake's in one of Indonesian's many islands, huh ?
Indra is also a reference to one of Hindu's Gods, if I'm not mistaken. Uncharted devs really like using Indonesian language, huh ? Remember the scene in Uncharted 1 when Drake said "Buka Pintu" ? That means, open the door, and now this. :)
Where I'll never justify paying full price for multiplat games, if I really have to buy them, I'll wait for price drop.
After seeing Uncharted 2 in my Samsung HDTV with my own eyes, I can't go back to mediocre games anymore, well not buying them right away anyway. So in a way, this article does have a valid point. Multiplat devs won't easily have my money and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks like this.
Only in September 2009 PS3 is in the exact same price range as XBox 360, so your argument is a total fail. No matter how hard you try to downplay PS3's first "victory" in sales in 360's home(North America) you'll always fail.

I got a feeling it's gonna be a very long time before we see another game like Demon's Souls, which is sad. But I hope we get a sequel in next year or two, Demon's Souls needs a sequel. Hey, there's always more side of Boletaria we can explore, or Tower of Latria ? Man, those 2 stages are awesome, loved every minutes of it.
