I don't know anyone who would want to play a party fighter on a handheld, especially since the 3DS has such a crammy hands design and lacks internet on the go. It's obvious that Nintendo is doing this to increase sales expectancy
Why are people (fanboys) thumbing you down Lol. It's not like you said Pikmin 3 is a bad game
I honestly don't give a damn about sales because high sales aren't representative of a quality product. That's why I and a lot of Vita owners are content with the Vita, despite what the trolls say about the Vita having no games.
On the other hand, if sales are too low like with the Wii u, then that's where I start to care since very low sales can mean the end of a product's life.
If the game's any good, I want it on Vita.
I really like the anime/manga right now, it's freaking amazing.
It's a good thing that you posted this comment. Now everyone can laugh at such a sad comment from a drone like you Lol
"sales have nothing to do with success < CREATIONS determine success, not sales < "
But when the sales are in Nintendo's favor, I'm damn sure you're singing a different tune Lmao
"wiiU is a success, sony already copying features again (: "
160,000 units in three month...
Yes and get PS+ if you don't have much cash for games. You get Uncharted, Gravity Rush - buy the DLC packs to support the devs - Wipeout 2048 and some PSP games with your subscription.
Dokuro is being offered for free and I came to really like that game. Trust me, you won't be disappointed with your Vita for the rest of the year, especially with Killzone and Tearaway + Gamescom Vita announcements on the way. I have a big catalog of Vita/PSN games to go through Lol
That GPU overclock was a measly 50 Mhz Lol
Lol this drone is even worse compared to that Nintendo fanboy thomasmiller
Other systems simply don't have enough compared to Playstation. That may sound fanboyish but I'm completely serious. Just look at the sheer amount of 1st party exclusives Sony releases compared to the pale offerings of MS - Halo, Gears, Forza and Nintendo - 5 years for one Zelda.
And I'm pretty sure you're an Xbot drone Lol
Yet Xenoblade hasn't even reached a million sales even though it had a 90 million install base... I highly, HIGHLY doubt that X will make much of a difference.
"How Wii U is currently doing isn't really the big picture."
Unless Nintendo's open to taking even bigger losses with a price cut, those current sales you're seeing with the Wii u worldwide will not magically turn into Wii numbers. There's a certain sales peak that every console always reach and there's also a certain mid-level range of sales. By 2014 - and after Wii u Mario games come out - the Wii u will probably do 50k on average for each regi...
1) Mario is casual and stale at this point so to even brag about that.. I have no idea
2) Those sales won't get better unless Nintendo does a desperate price cut again like with the 3DS AND somehow get a ton of games out AND get 3rd party support - which right now is pretty damn sad
You watch that moron Zaire?
You shouldn't have said that because now I can't even take your butthurt seriously...
You're just as hypocritical as those so called "big-boy teen gamers" Lol. Just because you play "child-friendly" underrated Nintendo games, that doesn't make you a "mature"/"hardc ore" gamer, it makes you look like a butthurt hipster if anything.
Games are just games. This "gamer-cred" thing is ridiculous for both sides - the CoD FPS dudebros and the hipsters that play obscure RPGs/unpopular games.
"Nintendo respects its IP."
Yeah.. that's why you're getting like the 5th Mario title once again, a Zelda Gamecube port at $60 and no game announcements for Star Fox, F Zero and Metroid.
Keep lying to yourself drone.
It's Kotaku so...
So you're just going to ignore the MASSIVE price cut for the 3DS that came out 3 months after it launched worldwide? Lol
If you look throughout Nintendo's history in gaming, you can see that this is HARDLY the case Lol. They struck the jackpot with the Wii and manage to push bigger sales due to their - I wouldn't say "casual" - "child-friendly" tone.
Gamecube on the other hand literally had all the big Nintendo games and they only managed to sell 25 million. The Wii u has already proven to be a fail as a gimmick so there goes Nintendo's chance of selling Wii num...
I basically agree with everything you've stated blueberry. Nintendo is at an impasse right now; go third party and continue to make games or continue making consoles that struggle in the market. Because let's face it, the Wii u will NEVER match the PS4 or Xbox One in 3rd party support or even in sheer number of games. The Gamecube proved that with its low sales but pretty powerful hardware and the Wii proved that with its big sales numbers and weak hardware.
Pokemon has been milked for WAY too long
