Exactly.
Oh damn... I forgot some of those were just renamed studios.
Then... I don't know anymore, haha.
I mean, as of now, they look about the same. Guess we'll see.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't running in 4K - natively at least. I thought it was just being played on 4K TVs. Correct me if I'm wrong.
@Chris
Your point?
"Instead of putting money into their own studios, they simply purchase exclusives, whether they be entire games, downloadable content, or advertising rights."
"They have been throwing money to further themselves into the industry, going so far as to lose boatloads of money just to get ahead of the competition. Who needs competent first-party studios when you can just buy exclusives? Why compete when you can simply buy market share through immense marketing camp...
I like the fact that you can minimize the game screen and browse the menu. Seems smooth.
We've only seen, what, one level/section of Deep Down? You can ascertain that the rest of the entire game is like that? How does that work?
It'll probably be a mix of both, methinks. They still have/need stuff to reveal for at the VGAs and E3.
I've decided not to go to a midnight launch (I have things to attend to next Friday). But a friend of mine is gonna pick me up and take me get that bad boy. She might think I'm weird if I just hug the box, but it's worth it, lol.
I say wait and see. We haven't seen the strides each company has made yet (in terms of online) in action yet - on a massive scale.
I want to know if the JAP PS4 launch games are going to be making their way to the West. Guilty Gear Xrd, Wonder Flick, Lily Bergamo (is that how it's spelled?), and Yakuza interested me. I'm sure there are a few I'm forgetting.
And I want to know if there's a new SF being made for PS4 (based on that SF cab ad).
Anyway, both launch lineups look pretty good. Games for different tastes and all that good stuff.
Wait... You mean... *checks again*
0_o That right there is... Uncanny!
If that isn't lazy.... I don't know what is.
It's like the greatest panini-maker/parallelogram to ever exist.
Sony has wizards for designers.
Let's just wait and see.
(I say this because I'm personally hoping for a new IP.)
I'll pick this up for PS4.
I might download it, as opposed to having the disc version. I'll figure it out.
Anyway, cool beans.
Needs more Elena!
But I do agree w/ Ellie, Elizabeth, and GLaDOS.
One of my favorite lines ever was from Portal: "And I was like: 'Goodbye.' And you were like: 'Oh no!'" (I can't, of course, do it justice.)
Same here. I haven't opened mine yet. I refuse! Lol.
My thoughts exactly. (I was just about to make that comment.)
I think I just figured out how I'll spend my $10 credit. :)
