PS4 sales continue to thrive and Star Wars Battlefront had a really impressive launch. Japan is very much getting back into console gaming and we are going to see that even more so with the big PS4 releases in the region next year
As crazy as it may seem, these sales in 2014 and 2015 are just the beginning for the PS4. There isn't going to be any slowdown for how well the PS4 is doing in the first few months of 2016 because Uncharted 4 and Street Fighter V are going to be huge launches. Japan also has an insane PS4 line-up this winter with Dragon Quest Builders, Yakuza: Kiwami, Star Ocean V, Street Fighter V, Dark Souls III, Valkyria Chronicles: Remastered, Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3, and even more

I say they are aiming for 5 years but they will end up exceeding that if Street Fighter IV's amazing run has been any indication

If you look at all the big Japanese Ps4 games planned for next year and factor in PlayStation VR, I say hitting 5 million sales in the region is very realistic by the end of 2016

EA should do it, it would definitely sway me into getting EA Access because right now it doesn't offer many series I play. If they offered 360 games that were more than just sports and shooters than I'd definitely see it worth it then

I see this more as SE exposing FFVII and Cloud Strife to the new generation of young gamers on 3DS through the insanely popular Smash Bros. series. Its really just to boost the sales of the remake, I doubt it'll actually be on the NX.

Digital Foundry has been the go to place for multiplatform game comparisons since very early last gen. I would doubt that they'd jeopardize their credibility and the reliability of their comparisons because of any dislike for a company
The only reason I can think the PS4 didn't sell as well as expected is because the Limited Edition Black Ops III and Darth Vader Star Wars Battlefront PS4s were what consumers were holding out for.
I can't explain why the Xbox One didn't move a lot of units despite being #1 that month, it even had a Halo 5 LE available
