I think players (not casuals) have moved on from what COD offers fundamentally. For me COD has always been about;
Linear fast pacing (no ups or downs, just always up pace wise)
Small maps and low player count
Sticky Aim which always seems stronger and more apparent than its competition (apart from the latest Halo with its bullet magnetism haha)
No real squad based gameplay, more of an individual affair.

Looks like Respawn could be using the 'rapid packed math' update on the RX Vega. The Ps4 Pro will always out perform the competition using this workflow.
