I'm a Playstation fanboy and i find it hard to like Jim Ryan. Maybe he's been just as instrumental as Cerny in the PS5+Studio development, who knows. For me though, there has been a huge neglect of 1st party multiplayer titles i.e games like: Warhawk, SOCOM, Twisted Metal, Motorstorm etc..
Not everything has to be a brand new IP, people didn't moan in the PS2 days when there were a series of sequels.
Not only is it Nostalgia, but some classics games are just better than their modern counterparts. Currently i'm playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 over all the new ones.
You actually don't need to recommend a PS5 to anyone, practically everyone i know here in the UK wants a PS5.

One thing I'm annoyed with is the made up unlicensed weapons, i feel like they set the game in 2042 to justify having made up weapons and not having to pay manufacturers license fees. It just stinks like COD to me.
Before anyone suggests that's it correct to do so because of the future setting, you have to remember guns like the MP5 launched in 1966, and are still being depicted in modern games.

I know its small, but the idea of a character wearing a tactical watch on the underside of their wrist is just pure cringe to me. Its just tacticool/operator cringe. Battlefield is about army's, not operators.
I'm just worried that the cringe levels could be way above 9000 when it is revealed.
Also the HUD is shocking, why would you need to know what class you are etc?
I would of preferred a GameCube style pro model. No portable screen etc.
This looks so poor, the characters and animation are PS3 standard at best. They really need to reboot the franchise, starting from the beginning again with jungles and mad scientists.
I can see the 'disabled puppy' mechanic causing a stir....

Graphics aren't on par with Everybody's golf, and these special abilities are just too much for me, I think they would of been better off with a semi realistic golf game.
The writing has gone backwards in terms of humour, and ive played every single one.

Well it was half announced a year ago that they were working on a Timesplitters related project, i'm guessing it was to come up with a working prototype that has now had the green light.
It's a massive fail how they havent released a Timesplitters 2 HD remake with online mulitplayer already, i reckon it could of been finished in half a year. They could of sold it on the PS4/XboxOne for £20, and ppl would of bought it for sure.
It's quite frightening for Team Xbox for Sony to have such a lead early on, normally its neck and neck until the dust settles. I personally don't know anyone that wants to own a Series S/X, but plenty of people i know are waiting for a PS5.
