Anyone who thinks the norm will be 4K 60fps on next-gen consoles are delusional.

The solution is easy. Want the option to play with friends across platform and the option to change platform you play on? Buy a Xbox,PC or even a Switch.
There's something special about getting a game in your hands. To look at the images and see it in your shelf. Knowing that if your lose online services or for some reason your account would get compromised/lost that you still have your games safe.
And after seeing Apple removing purchases from peoples accounts (movies) my worst fears have become a reality.

Yeah of course a PC has the potential to look and perform much better. I forget that after the consoles have gotten so good that some games looks close or just as good as a PC. That consoles now suddenly competes with far more expensive PC's.

Sure a game like Shadow of the Tomb Raider is not for everyone. But to give a game like this a 4/10 is just amateur hour. Articles like this shouldn't get the attention it's getting.
@jimbost79 That's what everyone says until they get a 4K HDR TV and a PS4Pro. After ascending games not optimized for the Pro or the X for that matters. Looks blurry in comparison.
The bigger the 4K TV you have the bigger the difference are. And as a result of that my Pro is only used for exclusives now. The X just does a much better job taking advantage of my 4K HDR TV. Something DigitalFoundry shows in their tests be it on YouTube or via their raw files from the subscription service DigitalFoundry have.
If your a casual that only plays a few games a year then sure. Thing is. Most games look superior on the X.

Yes I have. The PS4Pro have to few games with high resolution. To many 1440p titles. So it was a significant boost when I got the Xbox One X.
Sure. And I wish Microsoft would just tell us the numbers. But in the end it's in software they earn the most from. And higher attach rate on software on Xbox vs PlayStation that have millions more console's in circulation says allot. And we see it with the exclusives on PlayStation also.
