No. This is what happens when you use a old bad game engine. Hold on to a old horrible user interface. Still have a team of developers who make some of the worst bugs in any AAA game. And a team that fails at making a good survival game.
If Fallout76 was made the way one would expect from a AAA studio then F76 could have been fantastic. But it's not. It's still Bethesada.
I had no problem getting my money back from Microsoft.
With abysmal reviews and gamers in uproar. I wonder if Bethesda will actually do something about it. Like step it up and add fun to the game? Or will they just get sulky and continue their planed roadmap ignoring reviews and gamers?
Because I hope they listen. And I hope they will take action to at least try to turn it around. Because the game has potential. It's just an horrible attempt atm....

Games are dumber and simpler without some form of RPG elements. I get that some want it to be as simple as possible. But thankfully the majority want more.
A few years after the next-gen consoles are out physical games will take a big hit as we will most likely see more games with 4K texture assets. Games will become so big that they wont fit on one disc. And the patches will just continue to increase.
By buying physical games your basically buying a plastic cover,disc and game cover paper. Kinda pointless when you think about it...
Seeing the reaction from people not going in super negative to a multiplayer game I'm seeing allot of positive reactions. Mine included as I think it has potential.
Steam is heading into dark waters. With more and more of the biggest games coming on own services. It's infested with junk that takes up to much space. And the storefront and everything about the user interface of Steam is ugly and boring.
Sure there are individuals like you encountered in online games. What I do. And what everyone should do is to talk to these players. When I encounter players like that I say it as it is. "Stop talking nonsense or I'll report you". Often the response is even more nonsense. Where I reply "I'm recording this and I got your name".

Yeah I did the same and the game looks much better for it. I hope they can fix this but I doubt it if the game was not made with HDR in mind from the start?
I play on a wide range of devices. And I dont need anyone telling me what I should or should not care about as far as this hobby goes.

Falsely promoted as a 4K title on PS4Pro. And now even HDR is just some false nonsense? And on top of that they didn't even bother having Dolby Atmos in a game of this caliber. ....
I enjoy getting a physical game. But after several decades I've realized they just take up allot of space. And especially today with so much sales on digital games and with a upcoming streaming service on Xbox I'm going all in on digital. It's just to convenient not to. I'll be able to take all my games and play them on a wide range of devices soon like my phone and tablet to mention a few.
