It does get repetitive after the halfway point and one of the final bosses was rather lame but most of the bosses are pretty easy. But there will be a couple that will probably have you use a bell to get some help.
The reason it may be overrated is because From Software had Demons Souls and Dark Souls 1 and 2 on their resume and made fanboys out of people so they couldn't see any flaws in Bloodborne. You make it seem like my 8/10 is a 1.5/10.
Just finished it for the first time a few days ago. 8/10. Great but definitely overrated and not perfect like everyone says. RE3 was underrated in my opinion. As much as I'm excited about the possibility, let's wait and see how the RE2 remake turns out.
One thing that always bother me was that RE3 was supposed to take place hours before 2, but there are things that are boarded up in 3 that are later open in RE2. Somebody fugged up.

As much as I love Sony, they did not support the Vita. That thing is trash compared to the gem that was the PSP. Vita had 2 big exclusives from Sony's own studios, Uncharted Golden Abyss and Killzone Mercenary. That's about it. Where was GTA? Metal Gear? God of War? Gran Turismo? Infamous? Ratchet and Clank? I go years without turning mine on and I didn't even have to pay for mine. PSP was and is still better and gets more use from me.
This is why I hate fanboys. Give a game they love an 8/10 and they rush in to defend a video game like it's really that important. I love the game, it's just not perfect like Sony fanboys say it is.
