@Shane Kim Not for a game that some people hyped as “The Game of the Generation”. Also 84 is low for Bethesda. If Rockstar or Naughty Dog got an 84 on their main AAA game, that would be a disappointment.
It would be lower than 85, if it wasn’t for those sites with an Xbox to their name that gave it 9’s and 10’s.
@Vengeance1138 Jim isn’t just “anyone” he’s a respected journalist and reviewer.
@Vengeance1138 Yeah Jim is known to do this. I think his 7.5 of FF 16 is what brought the Meta score down from 88 to 87.
@VersusDMC He also gave FF 16 a 7.5.
@Redgrave It’s a bad take because he said being digital only is the reason they’re not selling. Also it is the industry now, the future is going to be all digital eventually. I don’t like it, but you dinosaurs are going to have to get used to it.
Bad take. The GOW Ragnarok collectors editions didn’t come with a digital code, yet they still sold. Also the Starfield collectors edition doesn’t have a digital code either. That’s just the way the industry is moving whether you like it or not.
Because these nerds kept bugging Bethesda about it. So they showed them a title trailer to shut them up. Even though the game wouldn’t come out for at least another decade.
Actually I would say Cyberpunk. Except that Starfield is much more polished than Cyberpunk was on consoles when it launched.
7 is not a good score from a game that was as hyped as Starfield, and from a legendary developer like Bethesda. Also it’s not just Howard and Hines that expolded the hype. When MS bought Bethesda, the games hype expolded 10 fold. Once Starfield became an exclusive, it was looked at as the savior to the platform.
Starfield didn’t live up to expectations, but it’s not a “Flop”. Lol
What Sony is doing with PS Plus is scummy. But it’s not going to stop people from buying PS5’s and it’s not going to stop Sony from being the market leader.
@Christopher @lodossrage @MrNinosan Actually the game might of been worse without MS. Remember MS was the one who delayed it by a year and helped Bethesda polish it. Todd wanted to release this last year, when it didn’t look great. The game still has bugs, especially in the later hours. But it’s the most polished Bethesda release, and MS deserves credit for that.
MS paid for it, that’s how it happened.
It’s crazy that you got downvoted for this. SMH
He probably wishes he could of bought Larian too.
@stoney101 It’s obvious you’ve never held a Steam Deck. Lol Even though it’s a little heavy, it’s the most comfortable handheld I’ve ever held. There are others who also agree with my sentiment.
They’ve made mistakes like this before.
What’s sad is that, this isn’t the first time they made a mistake like this.
Why the hell would you want this to be co-op? How would that work in a story driven game? It’s sad that sequels can’t be made today without people saying “iT lOoKs tHe sAmE”.
