Wow. Talk about throwing the devs under the bus.
Lol Michael Pachter. This always happens in every industry. Everyone wants the top dawg, the dynasty to go down. Everyone always roots for the underdog, the little guy, it’s human nature. Every Time there is a dynasty in a sport, everyone always says “this is the year they go down” and they don’t. They did it to the Pats for 20 years. Lol I remember when NFL ratings were down a bit, the media said “The NBA will surpass the NFL, basketball will soon be America’s new favorite sport” What happen...
Ahhh. Did you forget the 90’s? When Sonic was at it’s peak. Or were you too young or not alive to really understand that?
@Walweeze FF 16 next week.
This is like the 5th article that Ryan McCaffrey has wrote in the past decade where he says “Confident Microsoft is Back!” Then when they have a dry period of not releasing AAA games, or when they release duds like Redfall he says “We’ve been chasing that Xbox high for 10 years” or “Xbox can’t deliver great AAA consistently narrative will (deservedly) persist. Rinse and Repeat. Lol
@Snookies12 Especially in this internet age. It’s,one thing if it was 30 years ago, but today with YouTube, Twitter, and Twitch gameplay and stories can get spoiled.
@-Foxtrot It means that their IPs are becoming mainstream. But this is just another thing that you’re complaining about. Lol
@S2Killinit Biggest lair in gaming next to Todd Howard.
Lol They did the same thing for Hellblade, Fable, Avowed, and Outer worlds 2. Like I said in a comment below. MS did it because they needed to ensure that compared to the Xbox One gen, they would have AAA games this time that wasn’t just Halo, Gears, Forza.
You could also ask the same question, why did they announce Hellblade, Fable, Avowed, Everwild, Outer Worlds 2, etc. I’ll tell you why they did it. They did it because they wanted to tell people “This time we will have games, they’re coming”. As the Series X was launching, they needed to show that compared to the Xbox One gen, Xbox would be having AAA exclusives this time. Also remember most of these announcements were before the Bethesda deal. What MS didn’t tell people is that these games w...
People in their 20’s play too. Lol
@Flawlessmic Since you played the demo and it surpassed your already high expectations and you loved it. What do you think the Meta score might be?
@blackblades At least a great single player game can be played forever. A GAAS game will be shutdown eventually. This game could be shutdown in 3 years for all we know.
Man if MS doesn’t release a mid gen console and Sony releases the PS5 Pro, it’s going to make MS look bad. Remember Phil said MS will never give up the power advantage again.
Wait till full next gen UE5 games release. Lol
There were CMA documents saying that Sony and MS are planning to launch the next gen consoles in 2028.
@MightyHealthy Hellblade does graphically. Starfield looks next gen when it comes to size and scope.
@InUrFoxHole Nothing for 2024? FF 7 Rebirth and Rose of the Ronin is slated for 2024. I know they’re not 1st party, but they’re considered exclusives. Death Stranding is also slated for 2024, as of now.
@Flawlessmic E3 2014 was bad. You got a Fromsoftware logo announcement (which became Bloodborne, but we didn’t know that at the time) and a Uncharted 4 cinematic trailer. That’s it!
You’re delusional if you think Starfield will run at 1440p on the S. LMAO Digital Foundry said that the X version was running at 1200p. So if the more powerful X is running at a little bit over 1200p, what do you think the weaker S will get?
