The indie market will always be just that "indie" just like the movie market. You may get 1 out of thousands of games that are picked up by mainstream or are even decent enough for replayability but I don't agree at all that the indie market is going to be up and coming in the gaming industry.
It is interesting to think that mobile devices may get so small that one day they will be implanted into your skin. Ha! That would be cool.
Thanks for the catch guys, I fixed the Skews thing.
We can talk about girls, boobs and everything else but add a little morality to a gaming site and now it's propaganda?
I thought this is the thing that we as gamers are trying to do away with? Aren't we trying to bring different view points and types to gaming?
@OP
I actually live in a pretty populated area, I was honestly suprised to see there were no preorders, I think maybe GameStop is a little Xbox sided. I even called GameCrazy in Corpus Christi Tx and they weren't doing a launch either. Weird.
@Omegasyde,
I'm actually a Navy Police Officer, my issued weapon is a 9mm. I am also a preacher. So, there ya go!
@Tru_Ray
Are you kidding me? Since when is a games violence even somehow related to real violence? Playing a violent game doesn't make you a violent person. The bible is all about loving one another, not being violent to others in real life. Video game violence does not equate to real life violence, same with movies. If this was the case Leo DiCaprio would be wanted for murder, Sean Connery would be incarcerated for stealing and Christopher Reeves for flying without a lisence.

Fixed at my site.
A Mini USB guitar would be awesome, however like someone mentioned since it's rock band you would either have to do mini USB versions of all the instruments or make all the buttons work the instruments and you just play via the buttons.
The Mic could be used because the PSP has a mic adapter for skype. Just some thoughts.
Possibly, but the PSP 2 is still far from being released, I think Sony plans to have a long life span for the current PSP.
Well you know what the word "Assume" means right?
Great Story, I enjoyed reading it.
Well I am sure if you spend time on the site or listen to the podcast you may see that religion and video games do mix, especially considering that a lot of games use religion to tell their story. Our purpose as Christian Gamers is to bring a moral perspective to game reviews. That's about it, hope you give us a chance.
Your 1 of 100.
@sretlaw
Where is the nutball mentality? Tell me what you saw on that site that ignites you to say that? Are you telling me that Christians cannot be gamers? What about Athiests or Jews or Pagans? They can't game and have their own community too? Just because you hate Christianity doesn't mean you have to have people getting together to play video games.
Grow up.
@Kevin McAllister, yeah a lot of us older gamers know that story, but a ton of gamers today may not.
Before you all continue to bash this article, how about reading the rest of it. Since I wrote this article I will tell you that I absolutely love Blu-ray, but not so much with the PS3. While the exclusive titles are awesome, they are too few and far between. It's a hassle just to do anything online with the PS3 and the wait times are horrendous. You get what you pay for with the online system. The PS3 has been playing catch-up with the rest of the consoles and yes the 360 is second to the...
I agree that independant IP is very much appreciated but I also believe that money plays a huge factor in this as well. Unfortunately the time it takes to create something brand new doesn't justify the wait in the big corporates eyes. They want money and right away. If that means putting out a COD5 because it will sell a ton then they will, even if it's just rehashed material.
This article was written by a Christian website giving an opinion on whether Jesus would be a gamer. It was not parody, it was not in jest. It was a serious article written quite frankly by Christians who actually have sense about gaming.
I can finally say that I actually look forward to playing my PS3 more than I used to. Killzone 2 has put it over the top for me and I almost picked up RE5 on the PS3 save for the fact that I am trying to boost my achievements.
As more games come out with a steady consistency on the PS3, I think it's going to be a force to be reckoned with.
