That's my problem with MS sometimes. You have Casey freaking Hudson in there with one of the best video game writers of all time in Joe Staten why not get these guys together give them a blank check, start a studio and get another big IP on the books. I just don't understand their thinking some times.
I hope they save Halo 6 for the next XBOX. I want a Halo game built from the ground up on DX12 and I want them to take full cues from Crackdown with the destruction based cloud they're using. Hopefully with the next one they can get Casey Hudson to tie in some RPG elements to the game as well.
Here's JRPG's GAMEPLAY in a nutshell. You hit me I go through a menu to plan attack and then I hit you rinse and repeat. You go, I go. Also how are they diverse when all the games use anime?
This looks like a run of the mill JRPG with outdated graphics. Hey if people like it then so be it, but then don't crap on shooters when this looks like rubbish and gets praised by fanboys.
Funny how people crap on shooters, but they praise this garbage? This thing looks like a PS2 game and has the same gameplay that all of these anime JRPG's have. Then people have the nerve to say all shooters are alike. Get out of here.
Funny how people talk about broken games and Little Big Planet never gets brought up. This game is still broken after a year on the market. I swear Sony has some great PR to brush this under the rug. And I love how people say Halo 4 is the decline of the Halo series, although on preorders alone Halo 5 is close to a top 50 amazon best seller for the year already, but Little Big Planets have gotten progressively worse and this one is not only bad but broken. I just love the hypocrisy.
I think they should do what Star Wars is doing right now. Make main line star wars movies but mix in anthology films. I'd love to see a third person horror flood game, a squad based military halo game that deviates from the chief storyline, a deep Halo RPG, etc. There's so much lore there that I wouldn't mind them doing an anthology Halo game for 2 years and then boom a new Halo masterchief game comes out every three years. Also if they ever decide to kill him off or have him die...
Meh that's your opinion, but from what I've played of 4 and what I've heard of 5's campaign I'm loving this trilogy way more than i loved Halo 2's campaign for instance. You're just never going to please anyone especially since the original creator is not making the games so the new guys are always gonna be questioned with every decision that they make.
I'd love for Rare to make a rebooted Perfect Dark game. I think that game in the style of the Tomb Raider reboot or Uncharted 2 would be a top of the line exclusive. Reboot the game in third person, make it action cinematic but make it much more stealth almost like Splinter Cell, build it from the ground up on DX12, and you may have a winner. Idk why MS refuses to reboot that game.
PC gaming does not affect console gaming. You'd need a fucking tank of a PC to run Halo 5 once they're done porting it.I actually really wouldn't care and even if it did come to PC MS would probably lock it behind DRM and in the Xbox Live store anyway.
Disappear? Nope. I'm buying the game when it does release on PS4, but I sure as well would've and never will fund a game that could easily be funded by a billion dollar corporation. Besides that you missed the entire point of why people didn't like it to begin with. If Suzuki San came out and did a kickstarter where he said I'm making Shenmue 3 and I have stretch goals for each console like Mighty Number 9 no one would care. But the guy goes on stage with a billion dollar corp...
Least amount of exclusives? Nintendo first things first doesn't have more exclusives on the Wiiu compared to the XB1. That's just stupid. Nintendo released like 4 retail exclusives for Wiiu this year MS will do that within the first 2 quarters next year. Two, half of these Sony exclusives that you guys mark down as exclusives are either indie timed exclusives or third party japanese exclusives. Sony's internal studios don't manage a lot of these and they're cheap to secure...
Because Shenmue is a dead franchise and MS doesn't want to invest in dead franchises. The fact that they had to do a kickstarter for this and Sega wouldn't publish it is all you need to know.
I haven't played the game, but I'll probably pick it up when it's cheap. The only thing that turns me off is the QTE's and predetermined stuff, but hey at 15 or 20 bucks when it gets there I'll give it a try. I just think the game might've been done better if they possibly gave you full control of the character and gameplay, but that's just from an outsider looking in. I could be completely wrong.
They have like 5 studios who work on the games. I get where people are coming from, but these studios already have 2 or 3 years in between to think idea's. It's not like if they take 2 years off it's gonna make a difference.
Everyone pretty much. Game is the 62nd best selling product of the year on amazon already and that's just the preorders. Absolutely ridiculous.
Ger2396- I don't see how that would be bad. If the game is almost a top 50 best selling product before it even ships, and that's the entirety of Amazon as a site not just the video games section, then just imagine what it's doing everywhere else and what it's gonna do when it's released.
There's fanboys of all sorts, but the die hard Sony fans are some of the worst people I've ever met online. I get Sony is apart of everyones childhood and people have emotional connections with them, but damn they can get crazy.
Why would they? Microsoft has a marketing deal with them so why would they make a custom controller for Sony? That's like saying DICE should make a custom Darth Vader console for MS.
