I totally agree that X1 not outputting Ghosts at 1080p is weird considering its an old engine etc, especially since more demanding games, and I think we all can agree COD isnt the most demanding game, like Ryse and Forza are running at a higher resolution. Sure Ryse is running at half the frame rate, but it looks damn good. Forza is running at the same frame rate and is running at 1080p.

No one is denying the ps4 has better hardware.
The Wii U has a fraction of the power. Didn't stop me from buying it. A consoles success is not determined by its hardware.

its $20. You can not go wrong for $20. Some $60 games have 12-15.
Plus everything they have shown about this game proves it will be extremely polished and will be very balanced.

Nobody was comparing it to DVD.... So not sure why you are throwing DVD into the mix.
Last I checked, there's is zero confirmation Ghosts is running at 720 on xbone.
Why not wait for confirmation?

problem with blu ray drives are that their seek/read rate is very slow and is a lot of wear and tear on the laser, so data has to be installed to reach proper read rates.
