The 2000 article that we are talking about and then they did it again in 2006 saying the same thing about the PS3 that they said about the PS2.
I am willing to bet that they will be wrong again. Wait I have already placed that bet.

Looks like even with the November PS3 NPD sales #s in, some ones stock is holding strong.
LOL, I am just wondering how you disagree with the market closing quotes from today. Are the NYSE and Nasdaq lying to us?
Right, just because the November (one month) sales of the PS3 where down compared to LY dose not mean that the PS3 is failing. I am even thinking that December 08 will show a similar trend.
We all tend to forget that the PS3 outsold the 360 most of 2008 in the U.S. and world wide at a higher price point. And the two year numbers for both systems are on track regardless of the higher price point of the PS3.
Also dose not change the strong exclusive line up of the PS3 ...
It would sell a lot better is the general public actually knew about it.
The game looks great and I am at this point planing on picking up Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy VS XIII, and Final Fantasy XIII Agito.
I am really looking forward to VS XIII because it seems to have a more mature theme and feel to it.
@ Sarcasm
Yes the end of the video did appear to be real time.
I think you can give a review score to anything you want.
Watch this, my wife made me dinner tonight, compared to her past cooking I'll give the chicken a 7/10, it was a bit dry.
And I agree with the review that Pocket lint game HOME 100%. Right now it is a 8/10 kind of experience and can only get better.
Welcome HOME!
360
2 years 18 million
1 year no competition at all
1/2 the price
PS3
2 years 18 million
stiff comp. agaisnt 2 competitors since birth
2x the price
I think that this shows that the demand for PS3 is there, it just wont be seen in the sales for a while until the price drops again.
December will also look like this for PS3 sales but dose it really matter if there YTD sales are higher than the YTD sales from LY?

While I don't personally enjoy the Wii= Zelda was awesome or DS= 2 player Mario Kart I love the fact that Nintendo is greatly expanding the video game market and getting a ton of new people involved.
I started out with Nintendo/Atari and now millions of other people are getting that same opportunity
The game moves so damn fast, super intense shooting action.
why is Lips always brought up in articles. Hey look at us we ripped off SingStar. WTF?
Anyways, aside from the game being exclusive is anyone "really" excited for Ninja Blade. I mean From Software is the dev for Christ's sake!
"Let me repeat the list: Killzone 2, God of War III, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Gran Turismo 5. All I'm asking - and it's a legitimate question - is what in Microsoft's or Nintendo's exclusive repertoire can compete with that as far as overall quality is concerned? And what on the 360 can compete where the graphics are concerned?"
You guys can keep holding on the Gears and stay where your at for the rest of this gen. While the rest of us (you know where...
Now if my GameInformer would just so up, I could look at this first hand.
I do see that a ton of people will most likely end up being kicked out of HOME as you can report users. A lot of the guys there just don't know how to act around females.
But then again the young ladies in the closed beta thought it was funny to get these looser types to follow them around. Funny, I know.
I give it a week before people start complaining about Sony kicking them to the curb.
Total PlayStation Hardware Unit Sales in November 2008, a 93% growth from the October 2008, according to NPD.
From January to November 2008, more than 2.8 million PS3s have been sold in the U.S., representing a year-to-date hardware sales growth of more than 60%.

Home is packed to the brim with people. It was like going to a major sporting event in the shear number of people there.
They added a ton of stuff to do today. New UFO game in the new central plaza the Uncharted space has new arcade games, the radio in central plaza got updated, that was just the stuff I found in my 30 min. tour. And it is still all free. I am personally looking forward the Red Bull plane racing.
The Uncharted space is very nice. The locked doors lead to more spaces, the codes to the two doors upstairs are; Right door= 24312 and Left door= 41675, I could not get to the downstairs door the bar was packed. There are also some new arcade games in the bar, nothing better than free mini games.
I would still be on but my wife came home from work early today, so I am going to have to wait until later tonight to check the rest of the new areas out.
Before it kicked me out there was a F'in Ocean of people in Central Plaza. I have never seen HOME that full.
They changed the central square. I think it looks a lot better though.
