They kind of took a shot at Natal in the presentation, with the whole you could only do this with buttons.
Seriously though this is the best motion tech I have seen, for Christ sake the damn thing detects motion to less than a millimeter.
not only did the Real Driving Simulator return, its coming to the PSP running at 60fps and the PS3 version now has NASCAR!
No other driving sim on the market can touch Gran Turismo.
EDIT: @ 3.2
So you don't want to see the games that are coming?
Then I say if they have the games, let us see them.
Only 12-14 more hours and we will find out.
I am excited to see this development engine being used for console games.
While Crysis is an awesome game as I am sure Crysis 2 will also be, what I am really excited to see is some new IPs using the engine. Hopefully this quality engine will lead to some quality games.
And knowing is half the battle.
Oh, Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes look badass, but overall the game seems kinda meh to me.
They said today at E3 that APB was in development for PC and that they where considering console options.
Right, I also need to see some quality software before I draw any conclusions.
I would love to see this game make its way to the PS3 along with All Points Bulletin. Both of these games look to be great MMOs.
I herd them say it was running at 60 frames per second but is it 720 or 1080? Did they say?
We don't need an Uncharted 2 demo, the beta will be starting soon.
At 20 seconds did he just say that this was going to have 60 gigs? My bad, he said 16 gigs, that's more than enough though.
Gran Turismo and a new Metal Gear for PSP, oh hell yeah! And LBP is looking very nice also.
Bluetooth support is going to be a deciding factor for me on this one.
Daaaaaaaaaammmn, this PSP looks very nice, compact and portable compared to the 1000-3000 models. I wonder if there where any changes to the screen this time around.
I am going to want one of these bad boys but I have a ton of UMD content, so? I don't know yet, I guess I'll wait until I have all of the facts.
It needs to be piano black.
How many games is Kojima working on?
Yo, my bad. I forgot that this was about 360 games when I typed that. For me Alan Wake is the new IP that the 360 needs.
Kind of cool how we can make the same point using so many different examples. New IPs are great and some games just need sequels.
That's why I'm loving inFAMOUS right now and looking forward to Afrika, WCK, Demons Souls, Heavy Rain, MAG, and loved Uncharted among others.
But great games do deserve sequels. Modern Warfare 2, Uncharted 2, God of War 3, Assassins Creed 2 the next Metal Gear 5? Solid? WTF? are a few sequels I cant wait to get my hands on.
Even I don't know why you got the disagrees for that one. At least when I disagree with you I give you a reason.
The pic. LOL
"On the high end of the spectrum was the PlayStation 3. About 13 percent of the games released for Sony's console scored 85 or better, compared to 10 percent of games for the Xbox 360. Industry-wide, about 5 percent of games surpassed the high quality threshold."
And there are more great games on the way. Sony's E3 showing cant come soon enough. Quality hardware, quality software, and quality services, only on PlayStation.
I guess that most people missed that the PS3 motion controller detects motion and pinpoints location to under a millimeter. It is the most percise motion tech on all consoles.
Sony owned this years E3, if you think otherwise you are in denial or have a very skewed opinion.
