Cryengine 3 looks too realistic. I have no intention of playing games that look like movies.
Art direction/style is what makes games attractive. Not ultra-realistic, realistic = generic and boring.

PS2 was less powerful - God of War 2 says hi.
PS2 owners had to pay $50 for an 8MB memory card to save games. - PS1 had memory card, Gamecube had memory card and N64 had memory card.
PS2 owners had to pay $40 for a network adaptor to play online. - So is Gamecube owners.

The different here are the following.
FF XIII, GTA and DMC4 downgraded to fit DVD.
They hated it because they were downgraded.
NGS 1&2 upgraded.
They like it because they got upgraded.
