I can't speak for every single person, but I can tell you most of us feel its pretty frustrating when you see such events perform so badly especially with something we all are fans of. This is no different than watching the Super bowl for football fans. We are all fans of video games and would like to see the genre handled in a better light. Instead we get people who don't really know what they are doing. And the real gamers in the industry unfortunately don't have the power to call the shots...
MTV made them put that cast on the VGA awards. That crappy show is doing well for MTV and being that Spike TV is owned by them (Viacom) they forcefully put that cast on the show. And guess what, they will continue to tie more MTV properties into that waste of an hour called the VGA's.
The funny thing is even though he is defending it, I know Geoff Keighley was opposed to having them on the show. That cast has nothing to do with gaming. It was all part of keeping it in the MTV family! N...
The fact that the writer of that article doesn't have a PSP Go makes his article rather pointless. I wonder why he didn't rush out to buy it since he seems eager to defend it?
Why not stop sucking up to Sony and brush of things like the fact they just shat in everyone faces who purchased a PSP! Seriously, If you are going to drop a new device atleast make it backwards compatible and not release a WHOLE new device. Especially in the same generation. What people tend to forget is that this device will become the norm and push away all the old PSP's. Way to go Sony you just pissed of more customers. For every one time some one mentions not touching their Wii... 10 Wii's are purchased :). So I don't think you'll be hurting anything at all by not touching your Wii.
Eyes can not see how good the game can play from pictures as well. I think all these people getting bent out of shape should wait till we get some game-play footage before they start crying HD this and HD that!
Just reading through these responses is just too much. I can't believe how many people are already condemning the game before even playing it! Now I understand why most developers could give two sh!ts about gamers on forums. You all go back to your super ultra-realistic or bloomed light to hell graphics if you think thats what makes a good game. Because all of a sudden people forgot the creative brain behind this title. Either way, when was the last time anyone saw a game dealing with a lice...
People don't realize that quality comes at the price of being able to except when something you do may not be good. If you work at anyplace that sets the bar high, you better be able to handle criticism of your work. In the end it only pushes you to bring out your best.

It really is pretty wack! I mean movies give credit to books that inspire it's stories. So why can't they simply do the same here. It's not like he is asking for money or trying to sue them. A lot of people like the cartoon styled design. So i think it's fair to at least know who help to make them what they are. Besides, I think his work is far better!

This game looks like every other game dropped this generation. But because it has a person everyone can point a finger too, it's so easy to hate! Replace 50 cent with a generic space marine and I guarantee it wouldn't have so much hate.
Where's the part were friend C tells they other friends that the system doesn't have any games? Last time I checked, word of mouth kills a console like any product. ;)

Gimmicks don't last 3 years long without showing any signs of slowing down! Lets find something else to call the Wii. How about this one.... Success :)
So far this generation, the next gen consoles have not done anything to revolutionize the Japanese rpg genre. So stop saying that it will be a step back when PS2 rpgs are far better than what is offered now on the HD platforms!
The proof is in the fact that other companies are jumping on the bandwagon! So essentially they are using gimmicks as well in order to grab some sales just like Nintendo. Ps3 and 360 are hd consoles. That was their sole hook. Now they had to throw in the motion control gimmick in order to get some of Nintendo's market.
