Before assuming MS "dropped the ball" i would wait for some sort of confirmation.
I can't see all Ferrari's being exclusive to Forza 3 though. If they are exclusive, that's one hell of a move by MS and Turn 10. Porsches and Ferrari's? That would be crazy.
