Uncharted is a major Sony flagship with a male as the lead character. The game receives heavy heavy marketing and tons of advertising dollars. Tomb Raider is coming off a reboot...and in terms of notoriety is not on the same level. Try again.
Is that your own Fanboy metric of success? In order to chart in November it would need to clear well over 1 million which it wouldn't have done even with a PC and PS4 release. You people are obviously salty and bitter but let's be real RoTR is a niche game...these massive sales people are saying t should have done simply weren't going to happen. Having said that based on estimates the game has sold nearly 600k which I think is pretty damn good for this potential GOTY title.

I think it's really time Microsoft pushed the idea of Universal Games and OneStore. Developers make their games and publish to the Xbox Store and they get simultaneous release on both the Xbox One and PC. Not only that but he really need to expand BC to PC. I think this synergy would make the Xbox platform more appealing to a wider audience but also more developers. Streaming and all that other jazz is great but they need to do more to take advantage of the synergy between Xbox and Window...
Numbers likely would have been similar had TR launched in any other part of the year. It would need a multiplat release to even go over 1 million in 3 weeks I think.

RoTR definitely is on top of my list of things to get.
As an Xbox fan even I know that Kojima was going to partner with Sony over Microsoft. The Xbox One could be selling 3-4X the PS4 and Kojima would still preferentially partner with Sony over Microsoft due to the years of partnerships.
Means PS5 will have one more great quality game.
Should be a good title to debut on the PS5.

I have over 40 games on my Xbox One with half of them unfinished. The number of games argument seems silly. There's sooo many and too little time to play them all.
The thing is I don't think the extra resolution is really worth spending an extra $350 on another console which is why I buy everything on the Xbox One. Batman for example looks virtually identical.

FF9 is arguably the best FF in the entire series and needs a remake including a better final boss. ***** was just okay. I love FF7 but it is severely overrated.
