If we're gonna lump in Madden with the sales of Halo and GTA, then we'll erase Halo and put in a title/series that consistently sells more and is exclusively on Sony platforms. Gran Turismo.
The only place to play the "top 3" (by some stupid definition) selling games will be Sony's PS3. If you want to play Madden, GTA4 and the vastly lower selling (when compared to GT) Halo series, then you get a 360.

Now this has nothing to do with the GTA4 trailer, but be sure that MS is not buying out Take 2, GTA4 PS3 will not be delayed (both versions would be delayed if the PS3 version was struggling), Xbox 360 will not become a PS2 because of having GTA4 AT THE SAME TIME as PS3, and GTA4 will not become a 360 exclusive..neither will Manhunt 2 go to 360.

The damage to the image is done. The redesign won't have nearly as much publicity as the 1 billion loss due to ALL 360s being inherently prone to fault, therefore 360 will maintain this stigma until it's too late to make a turnaround.

First off, not exclusive to 360, PS3 only owners can play it on PC, or probably Mac like Mac owners will be playing gears soon.
