but if the launch systems are defective that could hurt them bad. with the 360, i had a problem with mine and it was fixed for free in 4 days. if sony can do that than it'd stop the bleeding. still, paying that much for a system and having it freeze/overheat would be awful.

the xbox live arcade games are coming at a steady rate but i think most people would want them to come faster. ms hasnt released many games that would be as big as a ps1 game. just now they released mk3. look how long it took to come out. if you think sony is going to release games at a faster rate, you are dumb. the ps3 is harder to dev for and that might come into play. plus ms prides itself on live and if they cant get games out faster how is an unproven free service gonna do it quicker? ...
as an 360 fan, this is encouraging. i'll admit being curious to see what happens when sony's in the news, but lets not turn this into a sony bashing forum. i mean i HATE sony, but that doesnt mean we should rub it in thier fan's faces when something good happens for ms.
sorry for the double post. but when i went on there to get it, it wasnt there. however, i did see a mortal kombat image so i clicked it and it took me to where you would be able to download the game, but instead of trial and full version, it just says "more info". nothing works when you click that. maybe they are in the middle of putting it up

the "my love for you is like a truck" achievement is funny. if you dont know, the movie clerks had a song in the soundtrack called berzerker. im pretty sure it was a german band or something if i remember correctly and it had terrible lyrics like "my love for you is like a truck, BERZERKER! would you like some making f*ck, BERZERKER!" i think someone sings it in the movie too

who cares about what the zune does? i love ms but have no desire to get a zune. who cares what it can do when ms can (and pretty much is with vista) make a pc operating system that caters to the 360. can sony do that? no. can nintendo? no. is sony going to be able to play cross platform with pc users? no. is nintendo? they'll be lucky to make that thing compatible to a stopwatch.
this is one thing i disagree with ms about. they did basically turn their back on the original xbox. but at the same time alot of people wouldnt give it a chance.
i'll never understand why sony would make a console act like a computer, when they are competing with the biggest software company in the world who also monopolizes the computer industry. sony has a huge advantage in the hardware field, and ALMOST took advantage of that, but failed to optimize the hardware so it doesnt use its potential. they had a year longer to work these things out than ms did, but sony has had nothing but questionable decisions.
this just makes sony look worse. how do you dominate for 10 years and THEN start to lose money? ms is still new to games and they are about to make money. sony, not game wise but as a company is in financial trouble. and how does a company loosing money per console not charge for their internet service? ms is set to make money soon, not to mention what kinda money they'll get from 3rd party games and from the halo movie and merchandise. even with all that i think sony will be ok. they are pot...
its greats that ps3 fans get to do all these things now. i doubt sony often but i do believe that this is one thing they wont mess up because they cant afford to. although i do think the browser isnt needed. i have wanted one on my 360 but the more i think about it the more worthless its seems. it'll never happen, but if 360 and ps3 users could play each other online that would be incredible. maybe it would cause people to appreciate gaming a little more and not think about saying their cons...
its the 7th or 8th depending on which gamestop employee you ask. they said they would for sure have my copy on the 8th. everywhere on the internet says the 12th for some reason. gamestop.com says 7th
