Metal Gear could be fun but I will pass again if its 2 hours long.
Elder Scrolls could be great.
The Original Thief and Hitman on pc back in the day were so amazing.
This game will reward its highest trophies to those that are unseen and steal 100% loot. So this is right up your ally and mine too. Anyone can run and gun, but it takes skill to go unseen.
I love it. I will be playing and I will be pooping. I love to be scared.
Thief will be a day 1 purchase for me as well.
@Meltic - Lets say the campaigns are 1 hour long each but, the only way to master the level in full stealth nature {Completely Unseen and all loot stolen} takes three hours then it would be a 12 to 16 hour game. This isn't for the impatient this game takes skill and time. This is no run and gun.

Well I am happy and can wait for all the other minor fixes they will eventually get to down the road.

This will not help at all. Removing the disc drive to compete with Sony in pricing may resolve your pricing issue but it opens the door to another reason why not to buy your console. It doesn't have the power of the PS4 and has no bluray drive. Only thing they can do is eat $100 more of the cost of the unit and sell it at $399 and hope there exclusives keep people buying there product.
I have a problem when they say it will define next gen is all. With all the new Ip's on the horizon I just don't see it.
This insider needs to have his head examined if he thinks gears will define next gen.
As a long time fan of the Thief franchise this will be a day one purchase for me.

I thought it wasn't the GPU but the memory bottleneck from using such a small amount of ESRam. Making it fundamentally harder to code for. But I could be wrong...
To bad that this 8% doesn't do anything in closing the 30+% power difference between consoles.

The XB1 is 30+% less powerful than PS4 its a fact get over it. The 30+% power difference is a factor and will result in issues with the longevity of the system. While one system is pushed to its max the other will have 30+% to spare. PS4 First party games will be unmatched and XB1 will lose more ground in the US. Your list does encompass some great survival horror games but don't be so quick to dismiss Outlast its failure could result in other developers thinking there is no money to be made in the genre.
@JokesOnYou - Your point that games will end up at some point 1080p and 60fps on the XB1 is a great point.
But, While XB1 is struggling to reach the standard 1080p 60fps. Sony is using its faster memory/more memory/faster GPU to create bigger better games. XB1 will never be able to reduce the 30+ percent power advantage that the PS4 has. No matter how good the coding and engines get.
PS4 will always be ahead of XB1 due to XB1 hardware limitations.
