After hearing Halo was released I downloaded it last night, thought I would give it a quick go I'm not really a Halo MP guy, more single player when it comes to Halo games. Had a quick couple of games then played 2042. Only to want to go straight back to Halo instead. If anything its a far more polished game out of the two, I was pretty impressed by it, and I haven't been impressed with BF at all this year.
Can anyone tell me how PSVR games are supposed to work on PS5. I eventually got my PS5/PSVR adapter after months of waiting. Then had to get a HDMI splitter and set it up only to find nothing worked. Some Apps don’t recognise it’s connected at all and when they do they require a DS4 to play which obviously I haven’t got or move controllers which I do have but apparently you need them cable connected (didn’t bother trying in the end) but of course there’s not enough USB ports. …people are giving it below a 6 because it’s the laziest port there has been in recent times. It’s a mess and if you’re willing to admit that but give it a higher score because of nostalgia, we’ll that’s your own naivety at fault no one else’s.
The only part I seem to enjoy in the game is the Portal mode - Bad Company 2 section. Which is literally a single level in rush mode.
The actual main 2042 gameplay is complete and utter garbage! Easily the worst battlefield game to date. Portal is the games saving grace and that’s just repeated maps game modes and play style, lifted straight from the previous games.
What’s going on with game development lately!? It’s next level lazy.

Rockstar is the richest, most successful, highest regarded developer in the world. If you think they don’t have a fair say in who pull the shots you’re incredibly naive. They don’t get told what to do or bullied into doing things they don’t want too.

Haha well for the first time since BF2 the game run successfully on first launch, Without any tinkering of config files. I managed to get into the story tutorial match, which crashed to desktop 2 minutes into it.
On rebooting the game I have no way of continuing that tutorial map I have to jump straight into online multiplayer. However I can’t access any multiplayer game due to a “unable to load persistence data”. Which DICE has confirmed is a fault with their servers. Desp...

Good. It was malware. Bought age of empires 1 & 2 and it installs random inaccessible folders on which ever drive your installing on if not OS drive. You can’t access or delete these folders even if you delete the game. Ended up buying them again on sale on Steam. At some point I’ll need to format the drive to clear Microsoft’s game store crap off it.

This is DICE, this won’t be a complete list by any stretch. One thing you can guarantee is that there will be several gaming breaking bugs that they will pretend don’t exist for 3-12 months before they eventually acknowledge it once they’ve eventually found a fix - that probably won’t work anyway.
I genuinely would not be surprised if it releases still with the DX12 full screen launch bug that has been present since BF3.
The game looks worth it for Nintendo users. It would be great to play them in that state on a hand held. It just seems a massive disappointment to play them in that state on an up to date console. I think once the nostalgia has ended people who are happy with the release will start to feel a little differently.
Everything related to articles about previous compression comparisons has ended up being proved as false/misinformation. The biggest genuine comparison has been about 3GB difference that I've seen.
So I would expect the PS5 version with possibly slightly higher textures and sound files. Probably sits around 47GB and has been compressed down to 43GB... Maybe... who knows..
