If console makers are scared developers will openly make comments that their games will look better elsewhere then they need to make better hardware!!

Didn't Sony say if you bought Selected AAA games on PS3 it would transfer over to the PS4 release at a discounted price when available.... Lets hope!

No! This is exactly whats wrong with the industry, silly naive people think the price should be based on replayability So devs think they can get away with it. Where normal sane people understand that price is be based on content as with every single other industry or product available in the world.
This is just proof of the immaturity that still runs strong in the gaming industry & the people who allow it to go on.
Have to admit I wasn't massively impressed when I first seen it although it did look fun but after watching that video I would love it to come to PS4. It looks epic!

I completely agree with you that for Kinect, doing a gesture may well mean taking your hands off the controller which in itself would be annoying but that still doesnt mean you cant do it on Kinect.
From what I've heard, although not seen, Kinect is lag free & pretty accurate too. The DS4 with touchpad is definitely the better option but I cant see anything at all that would not be possible to crossover to Kinect.
I agree at the moment it certainly seems that way & I hope it stays that way.
It's a bit of a silly article really, yes its a good feature & will be a different experience to the Xbone but it's ridiculous to think that Xbone couldn't do something that could match it with Kinect.
Even though I hate Kinect, pretending it couldn't use gestures & speech to match whatever you did on the touchpad is just stupid!

I'm not naive enough to suddenly forget how they've treated people in the past but they seem to be restoring my faith lately but we'll see in the long term if this is just sales & marketing or a real long term plan.

There's already been confirmed there will be a new Crash Tag Racing coming, whether it'll be from Naughty Dog I don't know though.
They've already publicly said TLOU 2 & Jak\Dax isn't even on the cards for any time soon.
If they announce Uncharted 4 you can be sure it wont be coming soon, more like 2015.
It's crazy that even the games soundtrack has pumped me up another notch!

Its fine, as I said I can get into games I just have to fight through server errors for at least 30 mins before I get into a game. It's a problem with the servers, the strange thing is I can get into the Bank heist easily 90% of the time but I'm fed up playing that level.
It is slightly better now that update #6 improved the netcode but only just.
It's the same on the PC even on the latest patch #6 the matchmaking is still terrible. Takes me at least 30 mins to get in a game, once I'm in it's great but its so hard to get in a game without loosing connection with all the different server errors.
Looks awesome fun, I am starting to worry how the console will hold up in 2-3 years though. I don't think it'll last as long as the PS3 did.
