I believe Sony have said it will be between $150 - $299 when I comes to market.
I would expect a $250 or £199 RRP
I believe Carmack was also a co-founder of the Oculus Rift along with Luckey.
He plugged it initially to Sony before they kickstarted it but Sony weren't interested, it looks like he's a little pissed that they're now kinda stealing his idea as direct competition.
As well as that, he's trying to explain to people how much power resources are needed for VR. So if the PS4 game uses VR it will need to take a big cut back in the graphics departmen...
Awesome idea. Now make it happen!
Yea I thought that comment was strange too along with Geoff Keighley's tweet.
Oculus Rift is certainly the more powerful & competent headset. I don't actually think Andrea's comment was serious, I think it was more of a friendly competition banter comment. Geoff's comment has me confused though, I'm guessing the people he has spoke to have been using the old Oculus headsets.
I think there will be a good market share between the 2 &...
...And we have no one but the stupid gamers amongst us all to thank for this trend!
That's pretty funny, it looks like it's completely lost on this audience tho lol
So this is the new BS excuse to make half a game at only 4 hours long so they can make more money from less of a game. BS who doesn't complete their games especially with them now getting shorter & shorter!?
Can't remember the last game I played that was longer than about 8 hours. The only reason I wont complete one is if it's not very good.
HAHA so you can only trust this one because its one of the only ones to give it a high score. I feel sorry for you little dude!
How do you accidentally buy something from PSN!?
You have to go through about 4 confirm screens!
How have these people survived this long amazes me surely they should of been phased out by now by natural selection!
This is turning into the biggest industry joke since DNF!
The weekly games were more for the PC which were around £10-£20 but console games were usually £30 but for consoles I had a game swap shop across the road from me so I generally just swapped my console games a lot of the time.
Ahhh the good old days eh, pay £3 & walk away with a completely different game...
I think Abriael summed it up as much as he needed to with "common sense" & "Basic Knowledge"...
It's just a crazy mentality that you could decide a standard shared price for what you yourself make out of it rather than what is actually physically in it.
The only single way of judging it accurately is by content. You pay for what you get, its as simple as that. Any other way of judging it is purely opinion based. To judge it any other way is just silly & immature.
Back in the days of GTAIV, it took me 40+ hours to complete & still wasn't ...
Considering picking this up, was waiting for it to come down in price but it's £30 for a download key from Green Man Gaming. Didn't really fancy it on PC either but I may fall for it.
Sometimes people should really think twice about what they say before they spurt it out all over the internet.
People like you are the reason the gaming industry is in the state it's in. Stupidity at its finest!
Because I really enjoy my toast every morning & I paid £20 for my toaster do you think I should go back to the people who made it & offer them another £30.....???
You pay for what you buy. I don't know where...
People do seem to forget though that delays aren't anything new. They've always happened & never really increased in regularity, its just that it's more mainstream now so more widely known about.
Also, with every game having to be a AAA system seller these days there's less games being actually released in the first place. I remember as a young'un picking up a new game every single week but then they wernt half the price they were now & they were j...
Dopefish gonna getcha'
This is terrible, how on earth did this get approved?
That's a good length, about how long it took me to complete GTA IV.
I hate all these premier access subscription fee rubbish but in all honesty I have to accept that BF is worth it.
When you compare it to its closest rival COD where you get 3 tiny levels for £13 each time well with BF you get 3 MASIVE levels, along with new weapons, vehicles, weapon attachments, skins.
Although I don't agree with subscription content, you certainly do get a lot of content with the BF subscription.
Only thing I wish t...
