It runs like a turd on a shoe on my 5ghz 50mb connection. Pretty much unplayable for me but good luck!
The SteamLinks had it's up's & down's. When it first released the controller input was horrible. That got sorted (the controller is still pretty useless for fast paced FPS) & it was pretty good for a while but then updates kind of ruined the streaming quality & latency but then Valve went on a repair mission & it's now flawless. It's a start but it has got a hell of a long way to go. Compared to my SteamLink running flawlessly at 1080p. The quality of the PS4 stream is pretty awful at the moment. It really struggles to produce what it claims to be "720p" although it's not even close to outputting that. Maybe Valve could help them with some of their streaming & latency correction techniques.
Remote play is awesome but did people honestly really expect to be able to use mouse & keyboard??
One thing I cannot forgive is the screen tearing. It's truly terrible!
I haven't seen it that bad in a long time. The people pretending it's none existent when it is that visually harsh & blatant are embarrassing themselves.

Yes it runs well but that's pointless if you've got an inch thick bar of screen tear going horizontally across the screen. It doesn't feel like Doom in any shape currently apart from the odd pentagram or quad damage. The weapon balance is awful & feel completely pointless especially when comparing them to the original games counterparts.

In that case they have no excuse for the poor reviews. If the games been finished for a while a now they should of been putting more work into it.
Along side TLOU, Alan Wake was the best game of the last generation.
To be fair I remember Alan Wake also got panned by the critics & that was easily the greatest game last generation along side TLOU.
I don't have an XBone but would definitely at least try this out for myself.
No matter how many times people are told the 4K relates to movie playback & not gaming performance. People will still continue to ignore it & moan. Believing that a console is somehow all of a sudden able to play games at 4K. Where these people think that amount of horsepower will come from in a console I've got no idea.
I'm hoping if it stays in USA then revisit Miami & Vice City. If it moves away from USA then it has to be UK & Ireland.
It's not like Rockstar would struggle with a story, gangs or political satire from those regions. It could write itself.

Sort out the input control drop out at the start of each level. How did it even make it through QA before release & make it this long without getting fixed!

To be fair I think your misunderstanding how resolutions work. Simply jumping from 900p to 1080p isn't a simple task.
It's like a standard car maybe taking 15-20 seconds to reach 0-100mph but then it'll take as much time again or more from 100-120mph.
