I have one of the cheapest high speed internet providers. (AT&T $36/mo) And even they provide wireless modems. But you're right, you don't need wifi for online pay. Its a luxury.
However, the 360 does need Live to go online. No one buys COD MW for its single player. So that pushes that allready expensive bundle to $450 without tax.
Thats the only reason I quit playing cod4. I didnt feel the immersion... IW youre just talking out the side of your neck....

Because I do enjoy my SOCOM from time to time, but there are some serious campers in that game because of its 3rd person view.

They know the average person/consumer hates CHANGE. Theyre betting on you and all of those 20 odd million gold subscribers to stay with them because you dont want change.
Even though you see an equal service (4 FREE) right across the street you wont take it because that means CHANGE. IE New friends to make , new games, new interface to get used to and etc...

You just cant dismiss blu ray when it comes to its clarity and storage capacity for movies and games.....

All online games should incorporate 'push to talk' into their online mutiplayer. Its more organized that way.
Only one person gets to talk and everyone has to listen. This works well for planning strategies. I mean it was HELL for me coming from SOCOM to COD4 with its open mic system.
Open mics allow people to blare music through your tv/headset, hear nongame conversations from your team, Or just some random person who just talks way too much.
