Elite was really easy. All you need for the co-op trophies is a second controller. The second player automatically teleports to each checkpoint. You just have to get them both to the shooting range on the first mission.

Gears of War 1 and 2 were filled with bugs, why would I think Cliffy B's newest game wouldn't suffer from the same problems. I had a shit ton of fun with the demo, but I'm going to wait awhile before I pick this up. I want to read customer reviews before i pay for it. Plus I'll be busy for a bit with KZ3, Homefront, and Socom 4. Crysis 2 looks good too.

3D does not use the cross over of Ethernet over HDMI. 3D at 1080p just needs to transfer double the data and at the same speed as a regular 1080p signal.

HDMI is no longer specified in 1.1 - 1.4. It is labeled based on whether it is high speed or not, and if it is Ethernet over HDMI capable. Any High speed HDMI cable (4.7 Gbs or higher) is fast enough to handle 3D AT 1080P. The draw back is not the cable, it's the HDMI specifications of your equipment that you need to be concerned about.

Same thing happened to my 4yr. old 60gb about 6 weeks ago, I got lazy on vacuuming it out and one day it just shut off with the red flashing light. It did turn back on and play for the rest of the night, but the next day it did it again twice, I got it on long enough to back it up again and deactivate my friends and my PSN accounts. Bohan was awesome. If anyone here hasn't played Heavenly Sword yet, I recommend that you rent it. It's a very good game, just way too short. I think I finished it around six hours.
I was unaware that the batteries in a DS3 needed replacing, I've been rocking mine since release. It still holds its charge for over 12hrs. I play about 10-15 hours a week, so for the last 2 1/2 years I've played around 1600 hrs on its original battery. I think I'll end up buying a new controller due to it wear and tear before I need a new battery.

The power outages wouldn't affect the servers UPS's. They are in place to handle extended power failures. I would also assume that they have server banks all over the world.
