It still has to prove itself, as does Resistance as a series. They both are one game old.
I think by the end of this generation... they will be on there Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 are both going to be better than their predecessors.
All the games on this list(or the majority at least...I agree with the top 3) earned their way.
I want to see Resistance and Killzone make it and I believe they will. The are putting a TON of work into Killzone 2.
Dude there are ONLY 8HOURS of cinematics in MGS4. AN AMAZING 8 hours of cinematics. It took me 25 hours and 33 minutes to finish the game. Thats 17 hours of gameplay.
SFY Kotaku. YOU ARE BOTS. PERIOD. MGS4 destorys EVERYTHING. One cutscene in MGS4 destroys ANY pathetic attempt at a cuscene in Halo or Gears of War. MGS4 is sooo much more polished and its just better. : )

In the behind the scenes... Kojima specifically says there are a little over 8 hours of cinematics in MGS4... this is about 4 movies worth.
Here's the catch: It took me 25 hours and 33 minutes to finish the game.
MGS4 is a MASTERPIECE you have to play to understand. MGS4 owned everything.

MGS4 is at a 95% on Metacritic. Thats higher than any 3fixme game and MGS4 is also one of the greatest game of all time : )...only on PS3.
BTW is took Gears of War two weeks just to sale a million copies.
MGS4 sold over 3 million in two weeks...that's 3 times as much as Gears.
It took Gears of War 6 WEEKS to sales 2 million. LMAOOOOO
