Agreed but I think things like the dual analog sticks, bigger screen and a bigger library of games at launch could have been done at the time.

There's a limit of how long you can wait because there will always be something better coming out in the tech world. I just said screw it and I just bought a i5-2500k and GTX 560 Ti. It was an upgrade from my Pentium D and integrated graphics. Ivy Bridge coming out 2012 blah blah. It's great to be able to brag and say you have the *latest and greatest* hardware, but doesn't mean much in real life performance. I remember being in high school and could not wait for the weekends when my friends would sleep over my place and we would system link our xboxes and play Halo till 5 in the morning.
We all have jobs and kids now but think I might have a get together to celebrate Halo and relive the old days - this time around we will substitute the mountain dew with Jack Daniel, Red Bull and Hennessy : ).
