@BX81: I never really did mention that Killzone 2 deserves GOTY, as I personally believe that it doesn't. I mean, yeah sure, it's the best FPS that I've ever played. And sure I reakon it does deserve awards for best FPS or even awards for visually and techniqually.
But it does suffer from a few flaws such as the storyline not exactly being all that great as you metioned yourself. And storylines these days in games, are most likely one of the most important things.

Those people who were actually "complaining" about the controls for the game, were those who weren't able to cope and adampt to a different control scheme in comparison to your typical control scheme.
As the other user already pointed out to you, the weapons in Killzone 2 react and fire realistically as do the eneimes do depending on which weapon you're using, how close your range is and what angle you're firing from. Hence the reason why people complained so much about...
