The title of this article sounds like Sony is trying soften an upcoming blow, so don't be surprised.

Especially considering how much they are trying to push the PSV as almost a console on the go.

It will require luck if you suck at the Jet, so in my case it will be luck based lol.

I have to somehow manage a jet kill WITHOUT suiciding myself, find a tank, and then manage an AR kill.

Yeah, not happening. It clearly says on my receipt no refunds for open copies

Eh, I don't think Sony is going to do anything major until PS4. It's pretty annoying having to deal with really outdated and slow mechanics like in-game XMB and manually having to open messages, etc. Little things like this should have been polished already, but I'm done expecting anything like this for the PS3

I cant stand the hit detection and lag. When you die as fast as you do in MW3, it really hurts when the netcoding feels so off.

Don't forget:

-Marginally Superior Multiplatforms (some of the time, when the devs cater to it)
-Cheaper Games, better deals
-Huge library of games
-Keyboard and Mouse
-Community
-Exclusives/lots of free games
-King of RTS games
-Freedom and customization, play on your TV, play with a controller, play with 3 screens
-Games get better with age because of above freedom and things like mods

The only ones not complaining about Apple products are the Apple fans. To everybody else, the pricing makes no sense

For some people, this could be a deal breaker, buying a $250 handheld is already expensive despite the features, then you absolutely need a memory card to just boot some games. I don't know how many hardcore gamers will shell out that kind of money, and I definitely don't see casuals taking a bite when Nintendo couldn't lure them in at that price ei...

^ That's what I really fear. That it isn't some mega game, but some Move game like PlayStation Move Heroes

Cautiously optimistic, but I can't help but go overboard at the thought

The focus towards COD exclusivity tells me that MS knows that COD is a bigger franchise and they are doing their best to promote it on their console, as if it's an exclusive.

Halo's popularity has dwindled considerably. MS has definitely shifted from one, megaton exclusive towards promoting their console as a product featured around XBL. With that, COD is the larger-than-life super game that they are attracted to. Their most recent business attitude about promoting ga...

You can still find like 2-3 full games, even before this promotion

I do not think Halo matters anymore, and the best proof is looking at how much MS has shifted towards COD

Halo was fantastic when it first debuted and I will always love Combat Evolved. Halo 2 on the original Xbox really built a foundation, and Halo 3 solidified the Xbox brand alongside LIVE, but looking forward, I don't think Halo will be that important because it neither needs to or will carry the Xbox like it used to.

And if Halo 4 is really coming to ...

The irony is, I can probably replace "Skyrim" with his version of "Christianity" and have the same argument that he detailed, if I was so inclined.

@Garand

Like it or not, one of the versions is going to be weakest, one will be strongest. It's not hard to see why Bethesda focused more on the 360/PC version. The publisher will logically develop the game to a) the platform that is easiest and b) the platform that has the larger fanbase

Now, if the PS3 version was better, this article wouldn't even have existed. In fact, most people here would be patting Bethesda on the back while claiming the 360 i...

For PS3? 360 version has hacked lobbies, still have never run into an issue on PSN

The PS3 version has a bug regarding choppy framerate, it's not "left in the dust" It's a serious bug that has been promised to be fixed after Thanksgiving.

It's not like the PS3 version is the only platform being treated differently.

PC gamers complain about the lack of attention put on maximum graphic settings and the UI being clearly made for consoles in mind. The texture issue is more commonly reported on the 360 version

But not any of those open world games have the same depth of content that needs to managed and created like a Bethesda game has
