Jason, all of the games that you've mentioned are shooters. Are you an American by some chance? Preparing for Iraq, eh? Haha, do you guys have "shooting" as a regular subject in elementary school? Hah.
Yo bluebrad1974 jebote!
Do you really believe what you say? I can't believe you believe what you say! Why would anyone build a crappy machine just to force a new format. It would bounce back to them sooner or later. If not now, maybe nextgen. That would be a very short sighted move towards their consumers. And I hear that Sony is one of the largest clients to futurologists.
Anyway, I think that, if by some chance, Toshiba and Sony came to an agreement for a next gen format, be it BD or HDDVD, PS3 would still come out with that next gen format, not DVD. So I don't think having BDR in PS3 is solely for the purpose of pushing BD against HDDVD.
I think that we can officially stop with "PS3 is a trojan horse for BluRay"-like comments since, from now on, it is not the cheapest BD player. Minus one reason to bash Sony, eh?
Well robots that look human could be used for sex one day. I'd rather have sex with the ZoneOfTheEnders type, but I guess most people would prefer a human-like robot for that. In the end, I guess virtual reality sex will put an end to any kind of physical sex, be it with robots or humans.
If the game was on more platforms than simply the Xbox 360 you might be right. It looks like its going to be a brilliant game, but they are limiting themselves greatly by releasing it only for the 360. That cuts off a huge section of potential mark..."
Here, count me in, I liked Killzone too. The atmosphere and art direction were amazing and that's what counts for me, I like that futuristic nazi feel. The gameplay was a standard FPS, nothing new there. The thing that I didn't like the most about Killzone was tha voice acting of dying hellgast. Their screams really did get me out of the game :(
I also think those two are totaly different games. The only thing that's the same is that both are FPS. I really don't understand why they ever called Killzone the "Halo killer" and who said that in the first place? Sony? Or some "smart" journalist? Killzone was about the atmosphere and single player experience. I expect the same from Killzone2, for countering Halo3, there's Warhawk.
