I don't get those reviewers. Killzone is easily one of the best FPS I've ever played. And King Kong. I liked Black also and Medal of Honor, but Killzone had the atmosphere that is just like I love it. It's graphical style and nazi-like iconography is creepy. All those concrete environments and modern interiors. The design of Helgast uniform and their spaceships...I get chills. Maybe that's because I'm an architect and love that style of architecture (blade runner like, eastern-europe concrete...
Here:
XboxLive is GREAT.
Gears is a FANTASTIC game that I'd LOVE to play!
As a PS3 fan, I am ENVIOUS as hell because of Mass Effect!
It got to the point that when I see news like: "Mass Effect new screens" I just skip, I don't want to see it, because I know I will be sad because I will not play it until I buy X360. And for me to buy it, it must become more reliable. I guess it means to wait for a year or so. And I'd like to buy it at a lower price...
Stop with that DVD in PS3 nonsense people. It is good to have one console with a DVD and another console with BluRay/HDDVD(nextgen storage). So we consumers have a choice! Why should all the consoles be the same? I don't mind paying 100$ extra for what I want. And I'm kinda traditionalist. It is a tradition to move to the next gen storage with each new generation of hardware, like CD>DVD. I truly don't believe DVD is enough. So please, if you want a cheaper console with a DVD, buy X360 and...
Now read the whole comments section here please. Can you see how nicely this Comments Section started? Friends. Love eachother. Cease fire. Truly a great CS start that we haven't seen for a long time. And then some fanboys jump in and ruin it for everyone. I felt a bitter taste and some disappointment reading them and the natural replies that they have caused. Now tell me, if you can identify those posts, are those PS3 fanboys or X360 fanboys? eh? (Only the comment-starters count, not the one...
Yeah, I love my X360fanboy opponents! And I know they love me too! Heck I even love TheMart. It's not like this is a real war. We don't kill eachother as those fanboys in military industry do. We just do it for fun, right?
Sooo, Mr William Usher, watch your tongue, I don't want to hear you talk bad about my friends and enemies! If you have an opinion about this site, keep it to yourself :D
Anyway, Mr William Usher, what's your username at N4G? Show yourself.
Hey Wargasm, I disagreed with you and since you honestly want to know why, I'll tell you.
I disagreed with: "NO WEB BROWSER - This is what COMPUTERS are for(you know.. those things that anybody who can afford a ps3 already has)"
Because, what HD is all about is getting the content that we previously could only get on the computer, into a livingroom. To your TV.
I could also say: "why use irrigation? Riversides are for agriculture!" Tra...
Good point Jamaican. I live in a country that MS just doesn't give a damn about. You can't even find an X360 that easily, not to mention that repair service doesn't exist. The PS3, however, is in every store since the launch day and they can repair it by sending it a few miles away from my small town. I like living by the canyon and woods and I don't want to move to some concrete-asphalt MS privileged country just to enjoy their "generous" warranty.
You often talk about the PS2 defect rate. Please tell us, what was the PS2 defect rate? Can you find that info pls?
And it doesn't matter how many of them are there, the defect rate is in PERCENT. Actually, the more consoles there are, the more accurate the percentage is, since it's derived from the larger sample.
Game shortage is a legitimate part of a console's life. Let Sony fans enjoy it just like you enjoyed your X360 beginnings. When you're waiting for something, you're likely to appreciate it more when it comes, so it has its own kind of beauty.
