My Problem with Skyrim

GamerFitNation: "Bethesda Softworks creates great games. No question about it. The Elder Scrolls and Fallout series have some of the best open world experiences available today. These games really give the gamer a sense of freedom that very other few titles can match. The notion of “go anywhere and do anything” can really make playing these games unlike anything else you have played. With games that are this big in size and particularly vast in the amount of content, problems do arise."

The problem (as Bethesda has stated) deals with their gaming engine and how game saves are stored. They found out about it with Fallout 3.

I wish they would spend some time listening to other PS3 Devs and learn how to do it correctly. GTA IV and RDR do well and framerate is not an issue here, no matter how many xbox fanboys claim it is. The issue is the file size of the save. It was the same problem with Fallout 3.

And as for the all the fanboys, can someone please explain to me why you can be overjoyed at someone else's console/ game not working correctly? It seems like a waste of energy and time. Do you guys really get off on other people having problems enjoying their games?

Do you fanboys have circle jerks just thinking about technical errors in your hated consoles?

Being happy about another persons technical problems make you a psychopath. .
More specifically, a sociopath. F++k em, they're a waste of resources.

The problem is that it's just so damn addictive.
It has taken many hours away from playing other games.

Pintheshadows5282d ago

I think i'm done with it for now. I'm just shy of 400 hours.

My problem with Skyrim is that you couldn't really effect the world in any meaningful way.

That said...after 82 hours...I enjoyed the game, but with the bugged out saves..choppy framerate (and I can deal with a ton of choppyness)...I was ready to put it down...

And then I googled Dark Souls DLS.... :)

they can't get a 14 year old game to run smoothly?

jjb1981207d ago

That's ridiculous, lol. I'm waiting for the guy that says its too cpu-intensive for the Switch 2. This game is old af and has been released like 17 times.
