Gamers who give their money to practices like this are the problem. If people could stand to take a year or two off of the franchises that use the online passes, the business end of EA would go "well that didn't make us any money!" and poof, away go the online passes. But people don't have that kind of willpower :)

Well at least they aren't like Capcom.....yet Super Battlefield 3, Battlefield 3 Extreme Edition Plus. Or like Activision with the OP map packs. Regardless EA seem to be up there with along them(Capcom/Activision) but they are probably one of the least evilest.

I know someone might mention Origin, but maybe its time for most of us to get over Origin and just move on.

Trick at beating Online Pass.IF you buy an used game make sure you have a cool friend that will let you use his account.Download it and you is good too go.This allows tha developers too work around tha lames known as Gamestop.

I tried too trade in a game and they told me I will get $15 back.I only had tha game for 2 freaking days.Every since that day I havent got anything gaming related from them...

Stop complaining about online passes when you continue to buy used games. The gaming industry (publishers) such as EA support thousands of people that make the games that we love to play and these individuals have families that they support with the money made on "New" game sales. These games are the reason there are specialty chains like gamestop, so without EA and every other publisher there would be no industry.So keep supporting the used game market and we will continue to see studios closed. Then we will be left with nothing to complain about, but the fact that we have no games left to play.

If you're buy the game new the online pass cost you nothing, it is part of the entire package. You are not paying $60+ additional online pass fees(COD excluded), so it makes sense that you buy new. Why would you support a company that will sell you a game new for $60 dollars and turn around and give you $15 a mere 24 hours later, just to mark it up to $55 as soon as you walk out the door? You complain about online passes ,but I would complain about the fact that your losing 75 percent of your hard earned money and then have to pay for the online pass, raising your cost to above the new retail w/online pass. Hiredhelp I am not saying that the used game market is single handedly killing studios, but when you have studios reporting quarterly sales of a title and the number of people owning and playing online out number the amount sold than we may have some issues. Do you have friends that work in the industry? I do and I get to see and hear first hand how the gamestops of the world are affecting these studios.

Yes,they are greedy money whores.No real reason for online passes other then they want a extra billion a year they tell you it's to stop piracy and used game sales but we all know it's all about money nothing more then corporate greed.
