On the ps3 beta, I can get under the floor at will.

Also when you have a flashlight on your gun, If you have the sensitivity above 3/4, you seem to move faster than the light.. This is a huge immersion breaker for me I may go report it now lol....

LightofDarkness5373d ago

Also, the light is stupid and causes morons to die very quickly. :P

Seriously, I killed 10 recon "sn1perz" from long range with an M249 and was then accused of cheating. Well children, if you forget to remove that stupid flashlight of yours in broad daylight, guess how I know where your head is going to be...

A-Glorious-Dawn5373d ago

LOL it needs to be that way, In CQC its very useful as you can blind people quite effectively.

Its a good addition if you ask me, but the weirdness of it on PS3 needs to be sorted...

LightofDarkness5373d ago

It works well in confined spaces and in darkness (the underground portion of Operation Metro), but it's funny to see all the l337 sn1p3rz who can't understand why everyone is killing them while they have their flashlight turned on during the first two M-COM Stations (or the above ground portions in general).

Captain Qwark 95373d ago

shhhhh! dont tell them lol your taking away at least 4 easy kills a round!

TheOtherTheoG5373d ago

The under map thing has already been fixed, and in fact was fixed before the beta even came out, not latest code and all that. There's a twitter post somewhere, I'll try and find it...

When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!

cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result

isarai_lee113d ago

It's always so bizarre when studios announce something super early in development under the suggestion of forming the game to player feedback, and then they push against all feedback heading straight for the cliff while everyone is warning them along the way

lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. Its also hilarious that PIF owns Battle field 6

Wait,

The same congress that attacked Lina Khan when she fought the Microsoft Activision purchase.
The same congress that allowed Disney to buy 90% of Fox
The same congress that allowed Liv Golf to buy the PGA
The same congress that sits back while Paramount tries a hostile takeover despite losing the bid for Warner Bros.

NOW, the suddenly cares about doing what's "right" for works? Yeah, right.

No. There were elections and some of the scum were replaced.

TheColbertinator147d ago

Different elections. Different scum. Same results.

i know its a long shot, but i hope this gets shot down.

EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.
