i thought it was boring i still say so far E3 is being somewhat of a DUD
im just seeing more of ive already seen was hoping to see new things actual new things and not cgi trailers

i hope ubisoft at least shows something that isn't assassins creed

iamnsuperman5459d ago (Edited 5459d ago )

I though CGI trailer would stop after last year but they are back. I though it was okish. More of the same celebrities selling video games and the BF3 which was just showing what a PC could do (putting doubt in what the console version would actually look like). I hope it gets better because at the moment it has been a bit slow and dull except for some parts which have been good

EA still has one game to reveal... Peter Moore said on MS conference they had 4 EA Sports tittles Kinect compatible to reveal, 3 he talked about and one to be revealed later.

Now, on EA conference, he showed SSX, FIFA and Madden. If I remember right, that was the same on MS conference.

Now, if he meant later today it will be on Sony conference, if not, it either will be on Ninty or public show.

In any case, I don't think more one sports game will make EA's 2011 E3 that much better, but so far it was on [edir]par[/edit] with MS presentation for me, not outstanding, but not bad at all.

sickbird5459d ago

well Ubisofts las e3 was a total joke, it was laughable so dont expect much.

LOGICWINS5459d ago

LOL, I didn't even see it. I've been on G4 since 3pm and I totally forgot the EA conference would be on Spike. Oh well, from what I'm reading in the comments, I didn't miss much.

best so far....not saying much right

Son_Lee5459d ago

Not saying much is right. Mass Effect 3 looked phenomenal. Not much else, though. Stoked for SSX, that looks epic. Hopefully Sony and Nintendo pull out the big guns.

5119ent5459d ago

im going with sony.......nintendo should really wait on the console

hetz155459d ago

I was hoping for Dead Space 3, but no luck lol. Anyway, a good press conference despite too many cgi trailers

dkgshiz5459d ago (Edited 5459d ago )

BF3 was really the only thing I was interested in. At least it was better then this cheesy bull shit http://www.youtube.com/watc...

barb_wire5459d ago (Edited 5459d ago )

I'm not there on Insomniac's 'Overstrike' was hoping for an arcade/adventure platformer.. just not seeing it with the that presentation. I hope they prove me wrong.

*EDIT*

Also, can't say I'm impressed with 'NFS: Run' either, those QTE's are gonna get repetitive and boring fast on that.. Now 'BF3' - I WANT!!

When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!

cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result

isarai_lee80d ago

It's always so bizarre when studios announce something super early in development under the suggestion of forming the game to player feedback, and then they push against all feedback heading straight for the cliff while everyone is warning them along the way

lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. Its also hilarious that PIF owns Battle field 6

Wait,

The same congress that attacked Lina Khan when she fought the Microsoft Activision purchase.
The same congress that allowed Disney to buy 90% of Fox
The same congress that allowed Liv Golf to buy the PGA
The same congress that sits back while Paramount tries a hostile takeover despite losing the bid for Warner Bros.

NOW, the suddenly cares about doing what's "right" for works? Yeah, right.

No. There were elections and some of the scum were replaced.

TheColbertinator114d ago

Different elections. Different scum. Same results.

rlow1114d ago

i know its a long shot, but i hope this gets shot down.

EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.
