Yeah it is but I gotta play the 1st one on my PS4.

darren_poolies3942d ago

Surely they made enough money from the first game to fund it themselves? I mean they must have considering they're releasing it on consoles. Hmm.

zeal0us3942d ago

Well you got to pay your staff and monthly operating costs.

Pookandpie3942d ago

They're probably using a fair amount of that to create and publish the Enhanced Edition of Original Sin. Publishing on consoles is a lot more expensive than on Steam even with the latter taking a 20% cut from each sale (or something like that).

Either way, this seems fairly reasonable. Those who want it will back it, and those who don't will not.

Bolts3942d ago

Steam takes 30% if you're an indie dev that's a huge deal. The publisher will take a lot more than that.

And on top of that it's currently -75% on PS store!

dmonee163d ago

I just bought it not even realizing it was just dropped for ps5. Im excited to get into it

cloganart164d ago

People may not understand this but you get so much gameplay value out of a Larian game! It is basically 100s of possible hours with all the classes, decisions etc.

Great replay value, would suggest it to anyone who likes CRPGs.

I started bg3 again a month ago, to remember why I hated it. 100 hours later not only is it one of my favorites but i downloaded divinity 2 not even realizing it was just dropped for ps5.

These kinds of lists are often terrible for me, mainly because I either already have the games, or I'm just not interested in some of them. Great for people new to PC games or people who haven't kept up with game releases.

phoenixwing802d ago (Edited 802d ago )

I'm too poor these days to buy every game like I used to. I quit my job because it was too exploitive. So until I find a new one I'll be enjoying my immense backlog lol

FinalFantasyFanatic801d ago

Mine's become very exploitative too, sick and tired of doing the work of 3 or 4 people, failing and getting stressed out while the company makes record profits every year. I can't go without work, but I'm hanging on until I can find something else, sometimes it sucks living in a rural/regional town.

@finalfantasyfanatic
Yeah I'm lucky that I can go without work for awhile. Otherwise I would have just had to bear it. Hang in there. One important thing is to always be looking for a job somewhere else on the side if you're even a little bit unsatisfied.
