Vladimir Romanyuk has released a new version of his free space simulation and 3D astronomy game/program, SpaceEngine.
The Indie Game Website writes: "If you’re the kind of person who plays No Man’s Sky or Elite: Dangerous primarily to explore and see what each new solar system holds, SpaceEngine is a cheaper, lighter, but also more technologically impressive take on the same experience. As a bonus, it also makes for a good astronomy tool."
Space Engineers has hit early access on Steam, and Pure|News decided to create a preview article about the game.
DSOGaming writes: "According to its changelog, this new version adds animated water specular reflections and underwater fog, as well as debris rings around planets, 25 original soundtracks made by many authors, fast multi-threaded Star Browser and new landforms (pseudo rivers, shield volcanoes)."
