its not 14 per month, it is only 4.95 per month! Less than a video game a year and less than xbox live. I feel like it should not have a subscription fee and I am disappointed to see that games do not have the less expensive pricetag than retail that they said would happen.
But I just might pay that monthly fee to try games out for free! 30minute demo, then resets. Or just to watch others play, rate and laugh! it really is a fun service.

This article is misleading.
It is not a gaming service or console replacement like Onlive.
It is strictly awesome advertising! It lets us stream game demo's from their servers and charges the Publisher of those games 1 cent per minute, max of 30 minutes. You could go into gamestop, pull out your mobile device or your pc at home and try a game before you decide to buy.

RAINBOW SIX VEGAS IS NOT THE UNREAL 3 ENGINE. PERIOD!
IT USES THE UNREAL ENGINE 2.5 and some added new physics possible from the engine 3.
They are not at 11million.. but they are not too far from it, especially with price cuts and the new holiday season.
It comes out on PS3 first because its beeen in development longer. UT3 will be on Xbox just 3 months later and not a year.
Also... perhaps its easier to publish on the PS3 because UT3 is more desighned for the nvidia hardware. who knows.. who cares. ITS GONNA KICK ASS NO MATTER WHAT SYSTEM I BUY IT ON.
Memory card reader... Id give $10 to produce.. extra space... perhaps $15-20.. and WiFi.. $10 bucks to manufacture for the PS3. so... a $35 or so loss on the added features. They could of taken this loss months back, but now even bluray diodes are easier and cheaper to produce which was one of the primary reasons for a high price.
Id accept a price cut of.. $150.00.. and that would allow them to stay competitive possibly for xbox's cut. But its still way high for the to reighn ...
The PS3 and Wii have not been on the market as long as the xbox 360. The PS3 has stability issues and has frozen more often given the time fram than my 360. The Wii SUCKS.. its junk, lets all be honest. The hardware in that garbage is .. well plain garbage, shouldnt require any heating at all out in the summer sun.

DDO simply was a multiplayer wanna be clone of guild wars and it failed at that while chargeing a monthly fee!! bahh, LOTRO is DDO all over again.. only a little better story/gameplay.

But.. gameplay does come in 2nd and hella important. I believe those screenshots were taken in a way to make the wii look cheap and weak, but honestly I believe if some1 had taken that does not seem bias in their photography effort then we would see much nice graphics! and if you look closely the really dont look that bad!
Your are all fired up over a simple compatibility issue. Microsoft does not have anything against sony's products. Its NEWS.. and all it is doing is bring them hits to the sight. The market always does best when there are at least 2 competing companys and the existence of both sony and microsoft is more an aid to eachother than a threat. Nintendo is in its own ballpark.

Ok... BIG NEWS? ... NOT! The xbox 360 has no plans for HDMI support! That ad at gamestop has been there for months and it hints absolutely nothing.
And.. the cable shown is an hdmi/dvi generic cable.
I doubt that there will be support for another 2 years to allow 1080p future technoligies to be released and allow these tv's to become cheaper.
And... I believe NEC has a hybrid chip available and planed to release 2007 that will allow us to view both...
